Supernatural Creature AU Meme!

For all your gen or shippy supernatural creature needs! Maybe you've just been turned, or maybe you were born into a long line of mythical and/or magical beings. Make a top level explaining the type of mythical creature your character is, and people tagging in can either be a human, or another supernatural creature (of a same or different kind).

Rivalry between a vampire and werewolf clan! A siren, longing to lure unsuspecting humans to their ocean depths! A forbidden love affair between a fey creature and a human! All supernatural avenues are open to you.

Supernatural creatures can be as mainstream or as obscure as you like (though if you're choosing an obscure creature, maybe you should link to a description so people will know what they're in for). Let your heart run wild!

[ Kokoro didn't really mind always meeting at night. It was kind of romantic, and what high school girl didn't love a heap of clandestine romance in her life?

Whoever it was, Kokoro Amamiya was not that high schooler. Actually, she thought she was running late to their meeting place by the station. He liked to stay out way later than Kokoro did, so she always tried to nap before their dates. This particular nap had backfired on her. It was probably the weather; since waking up as a yuki-onna, summertime wasn't her friend, and the suddenly balmy weather in the spring wasn't helping her at all. But it was still a nice night.

Her heart thrummed in her chest as she stopped short behind Josuke. ]

Josuke has always had an open, giving heart, which made it hard for him to reconcile what he needed to do to survive, with his desire to live a "normal" teenage life. It helped, when he turned Koichi and Okuyasu to become his new vampire friends, but...

Kokoro was different. Josuke thought she was perfect the way she was. He didn't want to change a thing about her, and he especially didn't want any harm to come to her.

He smiles as she comes up behind him, able to pick out her specific scent from the crowd. He made sure to feed before meeting her, so that he wouldn't be distracted by his blood lust. ]

Maybe she's also a vampire herself if you want to do that as an AU. Or something else if you have a well-formed-enough idea.]
