The Bedtime Meme

In the great green room, there is a telephone and a red balloon, and a picture of

Coda had invited Ayame over to their apartment to see some new environmental designs they were working on, and maybe to try on some of Ayame's latest work. The evening had slipped past them, and it's now somewhere nearing midnight. Rather than force Ayame to head home (especially in the pouring rain that had started a couple hours ago), Coda tilts their head thoughtfully.

"You could stay over. If you wanted, I mean. It wouldn't be any trouble. My, uh. My bed's big enough for two." Even if Ayame's not interested in cuddling...

Even if Coda's apartment was far from Ayame's style the presence of Coda still made up for it. He is also learning a lot about video game design and such, and also has Coda model some of his clothes for inspiration. It's always a good time to visit, and thus it could happen that time just slips away from them.

"Oh my," Ayame mutters as he's eying the rain through the window. "Why Coda-kun, I would be honored to stay over tonight~ It may be better for my complexion too if I wouldn't have to take a taxi in this weather," he chuckles. And who knows, if it's dark enough he may be fine with the scales. Because why on earth would he share a bed with someone if they can't cuddle. It beats the purpose. Sometimes touch starvation is more nagging than vanity. "I do hope it isn't much trouble~? However, none of the clothes I brought with me could second as nightclothes, oh dear..."

"I have pajamas in my room. They, ah, might not be up to your standards of style, but they're better than nothing, or sleeping in what you're wearing." Coda gestures for Ayame to follow them into the bedroom--decorated in sterile whites as much as the rest of the apartment.

But when they open a drawer to reveal their selection of pajamas, a quiet indulgence is revealed: Coda is deeply into colorful, bright pajama pants, ranging from silky blue palazzo pants to red plaid flannel to a few pairs in pastels with moon, cloud and star patterns on them. The other side of the drawer seems to be plain t-shirts in colors to match each pair of pajama pants.

"You can't tell anyone about this, alright?"

As the colors are revealed for Ayame he gasps, perking up. You can almost see the sparkles and rose petals around him as he is taking in the colors of those pajama pants.

"Coda-kun, my, but this is magnificent~!" he gasps, putting his hand to his mouth then looks at the other. "Nightwear is also an expression of our most secret selves, after all~! And to know you indulge in such style, my, I'm utterly blown away~!"

He admires the collection for a bit more, then chuckles.

"Naturally, your secret is safe with me, my darling~" he tells them. "Well then, may I~?"
