[ The bar down the street is usually heaving at this time of night, but tonight is a strange exception. The fat, full moon in the sky probably has something to do with it, Adair thinks, as he shoves the cafe keys in his pocket and wanders toward the propped open door.
He waves to the barman, who greets him with familiarity (he doesn't come here often, but working a few doors down has it's perks) as he sits down at an empty seat, peering at the clock before deciding he's free to enjoy at least a few drinks before he makes his way home. With any luck, he might even find someone to accompany him.. The cafe was busy today, and Adair's hunger for glamour has been appropriately fed, but that's the thing about being a glutton.. satisfaction is always difficult to successfully find and keep.
He orders his drink - a thyme martini - and shoves the olive in his mouth basically straight away, then looks to his left. ]
Oh. Hi~ [ Who's this cutie. Adair wouldn't say he knows everyone around here, but he's definitely capable of recognising most people. This one, though, looks new. And he smells good. ] Do you need a refill? I got paid today.
