[ There really weren't good words for this sort of grief. To live while your family died. Booker was grateful that Nile didn't have children. That was a special sort of hell to live through. He wouldn't wish that on his worse enemy.

So, he let her hide against him and held her. Maybe he could come up with some good words but that wasn't what she needed. He let her work through it. Sometimes, that was really the only way as hard and miserable as it was. ]


Any time, Nile.

[ And he meant that. Booker would help her through these moods whenever they hit her. ]
