"Our mark seeks reassurance. Security. Signs of stability," he muses, the grin never leaving his face, even as his voice falls into the easy patter of someone discussing a job he's good at. Arthur might think him the asshole, but his delight in this is genuine. All too often, their work keeps them apart, forcing a professional facade when they do have time to interact, and then filling all of that time with work when he's all too greedy to spend that time thoroughly enjoying Arthur's company. Is it so wrong of him to savor it openly, really?
