AWKWARD SITUATIONS MEME
Fall out of a tree and land on someone? Get drunk and hang off someone thinking they were someone else? Wake up in jail and can't remember how you got there? Take a dare to run naked through the streets and catch someone taking pictures?

We all know what it's like to be stuck in an awkward situation and now you are lucky enough to get stuck in that situation with someone else. Enjoy!

RULES

Start a comment with your character's name, canon, and your preferences.
Tag characters by RNGing/selecting a number between 1 and 12 for one of the prompts or just pick whichever one you like.
Play out all of the awkward. Feel free to use any and all NPCs you need to make your situation work out.

PROMPTS
1. Dropping In - Falling down stairs, out of a tree, etc, and landing on or in front of someone. Falling on your face at someone's feet is always fun, right?

2. Eat and Meet - Spilling your coffee in that random person's lap, spitting out that bad sushi right in someone's face or onto their plate, coming out of the cake at that bachelor party and seeing someone you didn't expect, or maybe you got dragged on a date to a new restaurant serving foods you really don't want to eat. Food and awkward are age old friends.

3. Awkwardcalypse - The world is ending and it's too ridiculous to believe, but at least someone else is there with you. Yes those are alien tomatoes out to eat you and you should get out of there. Or maybe you're trying to outrun whatever plague is making people strip their clothes and run around naked. Are those zombies part of a musical about brains? Crazy is happening and you feel like the only sane person left.

4. The Morning After - You did something really stupid last night and you just ran into someone who may have seen you. Get drunk and cry all over a stranger? Moon a bus of people on a dare? Is this even the right person?

5. Put a Chain on It - You just got arrested and what more awkward kind of meeting is there than running into someone in the slammer?

6. Sticking With You - Trapped in an elevator, sinking in quicksand, tied together in a hostage situation, or accidentally pick up a leaking bottle of superglue at the store at the same time as someone else? Somehow you are now trapped together and need to figure out how to get yourselves out.

7. Turn Out The Lights - It's a black out and you're just trying to find a way out or get to the nearest light. Lots of awkward things can happen in the dark. Oops, that wasn't a doorknob you just grabbed.

8. Can You Hear Me Now? - Drunk calling the wrong number, sending sext messages to your best friend instead of your partner, lots of awkward things can happen over the phone, but at least you can't see each other while you're doing it.

9. Under the Influence - Had a little too much at that party, or maybe your prescription allergy medicine kicked in at the worst time, or you've just been hit by a curse where you can only speak in sexual innuendo. Something is influencing you and the situation is only getting more awkward from there.

10. Caught in the Act - It could be something completely innocent, but when that other person walks in, it looks like anything but. Maybe you're being a little naughty and public restrooms really aren't the place for that sort of thing. Or maybe you're on the run and need to drag someone in for a quick make-out session to throw your pursuers off your trail.

11. Double Dog Dare - You know you can't back down from a double dog dare! Even if it's the most ridiculous and unbelievable thing someone ever asked you to do. Like getting naked at the zoo and climbing into the penguin pool. You just hoped you could get away with no one else seeing you do it.

12. Mix and Match - Make up your own scenario or mix a few of the above prompts together for maximum awkward.

[ Kanda does not like being in small spaces, especially with other people. And Miranda tends to be a pathetic kind of other people, so he's not making casual conversation while the elevator is going up (not that he would anyway. ]

KING OF AWKWARD right here~

[Miranda is pressed into the one corner, trying to look casual and nondescript at the same time. She knows that Kanda is easily annoyed by her and strives to stay out of his way until they reach their destination.

That is until the car stops and the lights go out. Then she's clinging to her satchel as she lets out out a surprised squeal.]

Wh-What just happened? That didn't sound good at all. [It's so dark she can't even see in front of her face.] Are we...stuck?

For the record, this is all your fault.

[There's no real heat in the words, really, as Kate struggles weakly against their restraints. She's been doing it on and off for - what, an hour now?

She's not sure where they are. Some place dark and dank and musty. No sharp edges to rub their ropes against. No windows so peer or shout through.

Worst of all, they're out of costume.]

Wearing your favourite utility belt. The usual place, in ten?

[Penguins are taking over the world. Not the normal round and flapper-y penguins you see in the zoo, but alien penguins. Very, very tall penguins that are slowly taking over the world's governments while simultaneously destroying major cities and trying to exterminate humans.]

I must admit, this is not the threat I was expecting to have to thwart this week, or that it would go so poorly.

[Well, talk about awkward. Yes indeed, awkward, most awkward. This red jacketed stranger that'd just come...screaming into the TARDIS was definitely making things awkward for the Doctor. No doubt about that. No doubt about that at all. Certainly not the first time, but he thought that after he'd sorted that mess with Donna it wouldn't happen again. No, no this just wouldn't do.

So he peered at the stranger, completely befuddled and utterly baffled, and asked the only question that seemed pertinent at the time.]

What?!

[Ice skating had never really been a strong point of his and it wasn't that he wasn't honest about it, it wasn't that he didn't tell the truth, it was more the fact he never really got the chance to express his distaste for ice skating really so of course he happened to be dragged along by a group of acquaintances. Get out of the house, it will do you some good, they said. Timothy could only reluctantly agree and so there he was, on the ice and while it wasn't packed earmuff to earmuff there were still some people around that he didn't know, that where not those familiars, those familiars who had already took to the ice without him.

Wonderful.

Staring at the ice wouldn't get him on there any sooner so reluctantly, bundled up against the chill of the winter he stepped forward and placed the blade on the ice. One step at a time, a slow crawl really and while it took some work, he finally got up a momentum. Momentum was good and for about ten minutes Timothy felt a little graceful, he felt a little less rigid but that was always the downfall wasn't it? Thrown off balance by a bump from one of those lovely people he called friends tripped him up and while he tried to catch himself he didn't do so well, tumbling with a sound of distress into the nearest stranger and an tangle of limbs.]
