First Kiss Meme

one. It's your first date, and you're dropping them off at the door. Are they going to lean in? Should you..?

two. You have been friends since forever. Everyone knows you like each other, but the moment quite hasn't arisen for the first kiss. Until now.

three. Awkward first kisses! Maybe you just bumped noses, or you kissed their chin instead. Time for attempt number two!

four. Maybe this is your very first kiss, or maybe it's theirs! Either way, one of you is experienced and the other isn't. What if it turns out really bad?! (But hey, maybe you're a natural.)

five. The accidental kiss. Might have tripped over your own feet, or maybe you've collided and they landed on top of you. Either way, your lips are locked- Where you go from there is up to you.

six. UST kisses. There's been some sort of tension between you for a while. Maybe you fight all the time, maybe you're in love with each other and you keep getting interrupted before anything happens. Either way, that tension needs to end now!

seven. Either pick one, mesh some together, or re-roll!

Catching bugs made it feel like Manami was living in a summer movie. He'd never had much experience in this sort of thing as a kid, so it was kind of exciting to do it now.

He wasn't terribly wieldy with a net just yet, but he was fairly good at spotting bugs at least. Spending time napping in the grass had sharpened his eyes for that sort of thing.

"Midousuji-kun, come look, come look!" he crouched down, knowing enough at least to think better of trying to catch this one. "Isn't this a stink bug?"

Manami had delivered on his end of the bargain, he was late, but he delivered.

They'd been hunting down bugs for hours, crouching and crawling in grass to find what they were looking for. Of all the bugs and specimens they had found that day, so far, Midousuji found that Manami was the strangest of all.

He crouched beside him, tilting his head to the side and staring wide eyed at the bug in Manami's hand, blinking at it as it crawled over Manami's fingers.

"It is..." he said, putting his finger's next to Manami's so it would crawl into his hand instead. "You keep finding these, Manami-kun. They follow you."

It was pretty exciting when Midousuji expressed approval, in his own way, of Manami's findings. He grinned, but was mindful not to move too much lest he trigger the stink bug into stinking the both of them.

He pushed his hand closer to Midousuji's until their fingers touched so the stink bug could crawl over to him easier. It did, crawling over hesitantly as it explored the terrain of their hands.

"You think?" he asked brightly, watching the bug crawl over the dips and hills of Midousuji's knuckles. "Maybe they like me. That'd be cool."

Midousuji couldn't stand this kind of contact with very strict and few exceptions, Komari was the only person he ever allowed in his personal space.

But he'd made this arrangement with Manami and while he did find him to be unsettling in some ways, Midousuji didn't precisely dislike him for it.

He kept his hand still when it touched Manami's own, mouth wide open as he leaned his head in to observe the pattern on the bug's green body. "I suppose that's not impossible."

He glanced at Manami, letting his tongue roll out of his mouth. "Maybe you produce a special Manami hormone that attracts them."

Manami watched Midousuji's face as he examined the bug. It was interesting to see him taking part in something he loved other than racing. Midousuji was so bold and ostentatious when they ran into each other at cycling events, and even over text he tended to be kind of over the top.

But Midousuji was pretty quiet out here with his net, maybe in consideration of the bugs or maybe because he was so drawn into them. It was an interesting side of him; Manami liked it.

He laughed at the suggestion, folding his arms over his knees and smiling at Midousuji's wide eyed face, tongue lolling out of his mouth as he spoke somehow.

"That makes me sound like someone from an anime or something," he said. "Sakamichi-kun would love that, probably."

"You can tell him that next time you see him, that you produce a secret bug hormone." He said, putting his hand over his mouth and trying to suppress his laughter, that was a rather funny picture.

But he wasn't here to make fun of Manami's bug hormone. He was here to find grasshoppers.

He looked at Manami, putting his tongue back in his mouth. "You know, this might shock you. But I don't normally attract bugs myself."

"Next time I see him we'll be at our last Interhigh! We can tell him together!"

Knowing Sakamichi, he'd love that. Both the idea that Manami somehow secreted bug attracting chemicals and also Manami and Midousuji both coming up to him to tell him a silly thing like that. He laughed at the image of it and shook his head.

"Eh?" he raised his eyebrows, tipping his head at Midousuji. "Really? But you like them so much, they must like you back..."

"Ah, you do that, Sakamichi talks too much about anime."

It was irritating, but Sakamichi already knew that Midousuji liked anime as well and he wouldn't stop talking once he found out. He would rather avoid that.

"It doesn't work like that, Manami. Bugs aren't human. They don't have the obligation to reciprocate." He said, frowning. "You could do many things to get their attention and they might ignore you anyway. That's why it's better to sneak up on them to trap them anyway."

"Awww, alright."

Sakamichi did talk a lot about anime, but Manami never really minded it even if he didn't exactly know what he was talking about. It was fun to hear people talk about what they were most passionate about.

He watched Midousuji as he explained his philosophy on bugs, genuinely curious knowing how much he seemed to like them. He smiled a little, hugging his knees as he sat on the ground.

"Humans don't really have an obligation to reciprocate either, do they? But I get what you're saying. I've never been good at trapping things, though."

"It's not an easy skill to learn." he said. "It took me a long time to get it right."

As a boy he'd often end up squeezing and killing bugs between his hands, he'd been rough and rattled them as he ran back home to put them in a jar. It wasn't until he learned how to cup his hands to trap them that he became better at it.

"You just have to be silent and not get too excited." he said, shrugging. His voice a lot more neutral and contained. "I've gotten too excited and killed them a bunch of times."

[ It wasn't as if Sansa had never kissed a girl before. But this was far more important than just "practice" with Jeyne, or the drunken games of spin the bottle she'd been dragged into from time to time. This was Evie, who despite her reputation was such a sweetheart. Who'd helped Sansa through her break-up with Joff, who'd even made her a dress. And she had made it clear that she wanted Sansa to kiss her, so really there was nothing to worry about.

But that didn't stop the nerves from coming as she drove over to Evie's. Thankfully her siblings had not been around to interrogate her about where she was going in her new dress. She made her way through Evie's unlocked door, tentatively peeking through the doorway of her studio. ] Evie?
