Now that Tony had him in hand Steve wasn't going to try and go anywhere. Tony always knew what to say and what to do, how to make Steve feel calmer. Even if it was blunt...maybe because it was blunt.

"Tony...I know we don't do certain things together often...but..would you dom me? Maybe just a little bit? I just want to get out of my head for an hour or so." Steve didn't usually straight up ask for what he needed, but he was getting better at it. After all, Tony can't read his mind even if it would be so much better if he could.
