A simple meme really. One person has a car (or other vehicle), the other doesn't. Roll for a scenario if you want, the plot forms from there. Shenanigans ensue.

1. Pick Up - The person with the vehicle is picking up the other one for some reason. Carpooling? An event? A date? Or maybe their car is busted, they just need a lift.

2. Hitchhiking - Pedestrian needs a lift, just stick out your thumb and hope the other guy stops.

3. In the Road - Whether using the crosswalk, jaywalking, or wandering back and forth in the middle of the road, the pedestrian is in front of the car. Where are they going? Do they even know? Maybe someone should help them...or lay on the horn to get their attention.

4. Carjacking - Your vehicle is about to be stolen. Here's hoping you aren't in it at the time and that the other guy doesn't have a gun.

5. Drive Thru - Picking up food, paying a toll, or going to see a movie? Just drive on through.

6. Car Wash - The car (or other vehicle) is looking a little dingy. Time to get it cleaned up with a little elbow grease. Not yours of course, better to pay someone else to do it.

7. Gas Station - Fill 'er up, sir? Don't forget to stop at the convenience store too.

8. Broken Windshield - This is the motor vehicle accident option. Maybe you didn't mean to hit them (or maybe you did) but you just hit someone. Did you even see them? Are they alright? Someone better call 911!

9. Ask for Directions - Okay, you are completely lost. Time to pull over and ask someone how to get to point B.

10. Car Trouble - That knocking noise wasn't there when you started. Is that smoke? Maybe it's time to look for a service station. Or pull over to change a flat tire.

11. Wild Car(d) - Make up your own, or combine options! This could be anything.

While this isn't the weirdest thing to have happened in her life, Chrome certainly never expected that she'd be hitchiking across the United States with possessed earrings snarking at her, the owl chewing on her hair, and Mukuro-sama somewhere in this far-to-frigging-big country needing help.

All of Kokuyo was searching, of course, but the country was huge. They had to search separately. So the small, purple-haired Japanese woman stood at the side of the road with her thumb out and her foot on her suitcase.

Steve's taking a tour around the United States because he hasn't seen how it's changed. He doesn't know that hitchhiking isn't allowed in this particular county, and it's practically an American past time. It was in the Depression, at least, and he's been around long enough (a couple months) to have heard news about the recession.

So he pulls over on the side of the road, and gets out of his car. "Where are you headed?" he asks Chrome.

[Bruce can drive, but if it's Hulk, you really don't want him driving...road rage alone would be bad]

"West, I think." she said, smiling up at him. Chrome was a short woman; standing straight and tall she was 5'2". As long as she was wearing 2" heels, that is. Short, and slight, and missing an eye. The owl on her shoulder fluffed at Steve, it's own right eye had the shape of a spade for a pupil. "At least for now. Triangulating anything in your country...eesh."

Her accent was very strongly Japanese, but she took time and care to make it as clear as possible. She stumbled, some, but that's because the Italian ghost currently possessing the owl instead of the earrings was acting as a translator and telling her what to say.

Chrome's life was eternally weird.

The Avengers were driving somewhere, probably a training facility of some sort. But the van needed gas so they were pulled over at a small gas station in this little town.

Not wanting to join the others in the store, Bruce opted to stay in the car, working on a crossword puzzle. Leaving Steve to try and figure out the high tech gas pump. Well...high tech compared to ones in the 40's.

[rolled a 5 twice, is James Bond going through the drive thru too domestic?]

The Tardis console was acting up again. The Doctor gave it a good smack, trying to get the dials to show up where he was. He couldn't even tell when he was. Finally, with a sigh, he pulls the lever to materialize on a beach, stepping out once he's landed.

"Excuse me, miss?" Easiest way to figure out where he was: ask someone.

[You know those awkward moments when things just go from bad to worse? Yeah, the Doctor's about to enter one of those moments. Ariel, just new to this whole "human" thing, is actually looking for someone, but-

Oh, a human! He's talking to her, too. What should she do? Being the amicable sort she is, though, there's not much a decision to make. After all, she is a human to everyone now. She's free to be as friendly and helpful as she desires.

So she nods. Yes, she's listening!]

Poor Doctor is oblivious, talking plenty for both of them. "I seem to have lost my way, well, not lost per se. I don't get lost, I just sort of wander about...purposefully. That's my ship back there," he points over his shoulder at the blue police box parked on the sand. "I was hoping you could tell me where I am?"

[rolled a 1, not sure how to play it though? though it would be hilarious if we manage to get Matt driving since he's blind :)]

[The console is on fire.

So really, honestly, can he be blamed for the accident? His beloved TARDIS is aflame and crashing and how was he supposed to know he'd even hit his former companion? He was a bit distracted with the crashing.

The blue box slams into the ground a few feet away from where Jack had been standing.]
