The Experience Difference - aka Deflowering Meme

There's nothing wrong with a little bump and grind, a great poet once said. When you meet that right person and sparks fly, just do what comes naturally! No one will judge you...

...no one that matters, anyway.

But what if you judge yourself - gasp - because your partner has more sexual experience than you! Not that it's hard if you're a virgin. Perhaps you knew that going in, or this could be a discovery you make while your under the covers. It may be expected (ie, your partner is older or more worldly than you) or a complete and utter surprise.

How you handle it, however, is the key. Are you embarrassed? Shocked? Angry? If you're smart, you'll hope your partner will show you the ropes. If you truly care for this other person, you shouldn't let things like this come between you, as hard as that can be.

HOW TO PLAY

- Comment with your character and preferences. Be sure to mention in your comment whether or not you prefer your character to be the experienced or the inexperienced/virgin.
- Play with others! What direction you take this depends entirely on you. You can be fluffy, dark and creepy, involve sexual orientation play, age differences or underage, or a whole plethora of other vibes and scenes. Just be certain that everyone is on the same page.

Kairi let out a tired sigh as she sat down by Zelda. The two had been traveling in Zelda’s ongoing quest for knowledge and night had finally fallen enough for the two to stop and relax.

“Feeling alright, Princess?” She asked.

Though Thor was several years her elder, his marriage to Sansa Stark had been arranged since childhood. Though he'd known of the arrangement, it had always seemed somewhat surreal; a figure shimmering on a distant horizon. He'd been almost certain the match would be dissolved when he'd heard that King Robert had made Lord Stark a better offer, but Ned Stark was an honorable man, and would not be persuaded to go back on his word, even for his oldest friend. Sansa Stark would marry a Northman.

And so, at long last, the day had finally come for Thor to claim his bride. There had been much feasting after the pair hand joined hands before the Heart Tree, and during the height of it, Thor had gently but firmly captured his new bride about the waist and spirited her away to their Chambers. By the time anyone had noticed to raise a protest about the break from tradition, he had already reached their Chambers and shut the door behind them.

"I hope my lady will forgive me," he murmured, releasing her to move about the room as she willed. "But I could not bear the though of drunken bannermen pawing at my wife as they bore her to her marriage bed. And I wanted us to have a chance to get better acquainted."

[Not super experienced, but probably the more experienced one. I can be convinced to have her be the inexperienced with some prior discussion first.]

[Any interest in a fellow OC? Liara is mortal but with magic inherited from her mother - who was a dryad who chose to be mortal to be with Liara's father. In her modern AU she's on her own at only 23 and would definitely come to his shop looking for books on building and maintaining greenhouses. She's pretty inexperienced because of the need to hide her true nature.]

It had been a long day, if a productive one, and Zelda gives Kairi a tired smile when she sits beside her. The nights are the worst, genuinely, because Zelda has no idea what to do with herself sometimes. Other people might talk to their traveling companions and Zelda does but sometimes being around Kairi just flusters her.

"Just a bit tired and thinking too much. I'm afraid it comes with the territory."

Sansa, for her part, is utterly grateful that Thor hadn't allowed a bedding. She'd steeled herself for it and had hoped it would be quick due to her lord father's position in the North but she's glad it's irrelevant and she's been brought to her chambers only by her husband. She doesn't know him, no, but this speaks volumes as to the sort of husband he's going to be if he's looking to these sorts of things so early along. Sansa is grateful her father insisted on this match and not the one with Joffrey.

"There's nothing to forgive. In truth, I was frightened of the bedding and I didn't want to do it. You carrying me away was much better than that would have been."

Kairi giggled a bit at Zelda's comment before smiling at her.

"Wanna tell me what's on your mind?" she asked. Oh, Kairi would happily do things with Zelda, but... she's Zelda. There's no way she'd be willing to talk to her about thing further than just the day's events.

Would there?

[ angel is a sex worker, so he's pretty experienced. ]

Seeing the relief on Sansa's face, and hearing her words brings a smile to Thor's lips, and he inclines his head in a slight bow. "In that case, I am only sorry that you had to worry over it as long as you did," he says earnestly. "I am more than happy to have spared you such...unpleasantness."

He smiles again, gesturing to the seats before the fire. "Would you care to sit and talk with me a while before we...retire? I could pour us some wine..." He can only imagine how nervous she must be to find herself wed to a virtual stranger...and now alone with him in her bedchamber. The last thing he wants is to make her feel rushed to the inevitable conclusion.

"That would be quite nice, I think," Sansa says. Thor is from one of the houses closer to the Wall and those are said to be a bit more wild but he's nothing but gentle with her, it seems. There's a low couch in this bedchamber that's adjacent to the fire and Sansa sits, fingers worrying over the silk and brocade of her wedding gown.

"I'm very nervous," she openly admits. "Not about you, necessarily. Just about the act and the fact that we don't really know one another. I think talking some will help immensely."

"I wouldn't really blame you if you were nervous about me," he says, turning to pour the wine. He knows the reputation his father's house has earned for their wild ferocity in battle--and perhaps in other aspects of life so far North. Even Thor himself could be a little rough around the edges at times. But he was still a nobleman, and he wanted to reassure her that she would be treated well.

He joined her on the couch, and passed her one of the cups. "Ask me anything you like."
