ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.

[Yamato's never been sure how to take compliments. He's used to growling and snapping and alienating the people around him, and it never really occurs to him that anybody could actually be impressed by him. If he wasn't completely in fight mode right now, he'd probably be staring dumbfounded at Kirishima right now.

As it is, he turns a little pink, then grimaces as Kirishima grabs his leg. It damn well feels like his ankle's going to get crushed, and with his leg raised like this, he can't close the distance enough to throw any punches of his own.

That punch drives the air out of him with a strangled grunt, nearly lifting him off his feet. He feels his pelvis and ribs both creak, and it's only the fact that Kirishima's got him hoisted up by the ankle that keeps him from being knocked down.

"Hoho, Wolfblood's in trouble!" The commentator yells.]

(I rolled Gen- Lost. How you feelin about that? I could probably swing AUing Sylvain into Thedas or we could really lean into the "lost" prompt and say he fell through an inter-dimensional rift or something.)

[ Kirishima won't try petty tactics like crushing ankles, even if he could feasibly do so with his strength. Yamato's safe there. It might feel like a close thing, however. With the punch, he's seeing the blonde is hanging by a thread as far as fight goes. The easy move to end it all, right now? Bodyslam. His weight would totally floor this opponent! But. He wants to see more. He sees more fight in his opponent. He also knows from that wink earlier Wolfblood can't be a total piece of shit! Give him another throw! So with the mercy he's been granted, Kirishima chooses to crouch down and whip the blonde around his head, bodily throwing him with some screaming effort into the ropes across the small arena so he gets a good bit of cushion from the ropes before falling onto the floor. It's a spectacular bit of showmanship too and the crowd is going apeshit, many standing up to scream for Wolfblood to get up or Red Riot to finish him. Kirishima takes his time to walk over, quietly concerned for the blonde Wolfblood. If it looks like he's passed out, he'll flinch back to give the referee and medics domain, but he's still pretty sure the other will stand back up. Sometimes fighters took pride in incidentally killing their opponents in a brawl, but Kirishima wasn't one of them. ]

[Yamato feels himself thrown across the small ring, landing against the ropes and rebounding off them to hit the mat on his front. The referee starts a ten count, and the crowd joins in, yelling out the numbers.

He gets to '6' before Yamato is on his feet, raising his arms and shaking off the funk. To look at him, he looks practically undamaged and undeterred, although a lot of that is just bravado.

He knows that Kirishima was being merciful there, and hey, that's good showmanship, and it's the right of the guy currently winning to decide if he wants to toy with his opponent or go in for the kill.

Yamato flashes Kirishima a grin, then darts in towards him. That gut punch did enough damage that he's slower now, but even slowed down, he's still damn quick. He closes the distance, snapping out two quick jabs before swinging into a hook at Kirishima's jaw.]

[ Even though Yamato stands up, Kirishima's still wondering if it's right to go in. The grin is what tilts him into being reassured. Okay! Wolfblood's got some more!

Kirishima runs to meet him! And dodges the first two blows! But that last hit strikes him right on the chin and sends stars flying through his head as his own jaw slams up against him hard enough to send him spinning. The redhead gets thrown back against the ropes and this time he's not rebounding, but clutching at them with both muscular arms to keep himself upright.]

That's more LIKE IT!

[ He snarls at the other male through bloody, jagged teeth. His ruddy brown eyes seem all the more red when they're blazing, like now. Kirishima, for once, continues to rest back against the ropes.

He licks his bloody teeth and lips, then spits upon the arena floor. ]

[Yamato doesn't follow when Kirishima gets thrown back against the ropes, giving him a second to get his bearings. It's the honourable thing to do -- Kirishima showed him mercy, so Yamato is showing him mercy right back.

Besides, this is fun.]

Finally, a guy worth fighting.

[He snarls back at Kirishima, baring his teeth, and stalks towards him. There's not a lot of time left in the first round, but that's fine. Yamato's happy to take as many rounds as it needs to thoroughly beat the other man.

Once close, he moves in those last few feet fast, hauling back for a heavy, slow, but eminently powerful punch at Kirishima's chest.]

[ The best fights are the ones you win because you're just better - that's the manly way! It's not being better to just take advantage of someone's momentary weakness in Kirishima's mind. If this was a scenario where he was trying to debilitate some asshole on the bus or train? Hell yeah, he'd have stomped the fight out quick. In this arena? He wants to know he's giving it his all and that his opponent can do so as well!

So he gives Yamato a moment to gain his bearings and he's glad he did. That little comment, lost between all but them, makes the redhead grin all the sharper... blush a bit, too, but nevermind.

Kirishima sees the blow against his chest coming. He decides to flex and take it because it means he launches off the ropes and gets himself close enough to headbutt Yamato again, this time a lot harder than the first time. The punch takes away his breath and he hopes the slam makes Yamato properly dizzy.

This isn't quite a boxing match, but sometimes the fight club show gets so good they throw in a bell for a break. They do so now. DING DING!!! Fighters go back to their corners to get wiped down and patched up by strange medical hands, get straws full of water pushed into their mouths because the audience wants more. Anything to keep the fight going.

It's happened to Kirishima before and he's pretty happy to fall back and suckle up some water at the very least. The medical attention he doesn't care as much for, but he's not the type to debate it either. His mind is on how Wolfblood might come at him next. ]

[That headbutt nearly knocks Yamato down again, but he keeps his footing, just barely, and then the bell is ringing. Part of him hates the idea of even taking a minute's break, but part of him knows it'll keep the fight going for longer, and that's plenty fine by him.

The announcer, of course, is more concerned with encouraging the audience to put in some between-rounds bets.

Yamato lets the club staff wipe the sweat off him, and hastily seal up the cut on his forehead -- although he's pretty sure it'll be blown wide open again the next time he takes a hit there -- and he's grateful for the water, downing a few gulps while he catches his breath.

The minute's break is over fast, and the bell rings again with a sharp 'ding ding!' Yamato rises to his feet, rolling out his shoulders as he stalks towards Kirishima, fists raised.]

It was scary to see the entirety of his life spread out before him, knowing that he would never reach Homestead II. He would die on board this ship. But that wasn't the worst part, the worst part was knowing that he'd live it out alone. Throughout the year that creeping realization had made itself more clear in his mind, breaking him down to the point that he considered suicide. It scared him.

But know he wasn't alone. Not with Abraxas waking up aswell. He admittedly wasn't as much of stranger as he let on. He had spent time reading up the others that remained in stasis. He heeded a distraction and Abraxas did catch his interest. Just the name was enough to catch anyone's interest he guessed. It was an odd one. But then there was people named Aurora on the ship aswell so maybe he was just the guy with the dumb name. That said, he hadn't expect to fall as hard as he did for the man. The company was nice but you'd never know if someone shared or at least was open to same-sex relationships. Things were more accepting and open now than a 100 years ago but still, they didn't exactly keep records on such things. None that he had found at least.

"The cryo systems? Oh those," he drawled as he reached out across the other man, snuggling his neck. "Yeah I can fix them as long as there are spare parts. Even if there isn't I could maybe swing something together as long as it's not too complicated. But even if I fix them we won't be able to go back to sleep," he continued and peered over the other.

[ Well at least as fighters they get a little cut from the bets... not as much as keeping a victory streak going, mind, but they still get some incentive for hyping the crowd up enough to make wagers. And whether the two know it or not, there's a lot of bets flooding in now. The way 'Wolfblood' has been consistently striking 'Red Riot' in significantly hard places... with how 'Red Riot' threw 'Wolfblood' and seems to be taking body blows like they're nothing at all... Yeah, it's not an obvious 'win' for spectators right now, and so the betting is hot.

"Ohhhh Red Riot and Wolfblood were bleeding before the break! Looks like we've got ourselves some contenders! Who's gonna win? The Beauty or the Beast???"

It's the sort of thing that makes the red-haired Kirishima pink up across the way. That's the angle they're going to go for in this place? DiNG DING!

Kirishima's a little distracted as he starts out from his side, but seeing Yamato's fists raised heartens him. He grins and charges forward. This time, he stops just short of bulldozing to do a little weave before the blonde, and attempt a bunny-punch to his chin from the side. It's... an almost shy move. Something he's definitely trying out and doesn't expect to actually work. It's clumsy. But shit, it just may work if Yamato's still expecting him to bulldoze. ]

[Yamato turns pink at that remark from the announcer, too. Wait, is he the Beauty? Is Kirishima the Beauty? He feels like he might be the Beauty, but he can't be sure.

Better to just focus on the fight. He's expecting Kirishima to try bulldozing again, and he actually gives a little, delighted chuckle at the other man weaving, before batting that punch aside. Hey, it may not have worked, but it's still cool to see Kirishima expanding his tactics.]

Not bad!

[He darts to one side, dancing around a little, before throwing two short body shots at Kirishima's side. They're not full strength, and he doesn't expect them to do much, but they come in fast, at least.]

[ He's getting laughed at! That's a serious blow to the pride! But also dude looks... kinda cute when he laughs at him? UGH. ]

YOU DICK!

[ His yelling pulses out of him and then strangles off as Yamato wraps around his body and lands both blows on his side. Kirishima lists to the side under the force of the impact and keens in a way that sounds like the blonde just stepped on some small creature. As if he's strangling a rabbit. How could you?

The redhead pivots suddenly towards Yamato and charges towards him, head down. He'll slam the blonde up against the ropes again if he can't dodge this time!!!

But it's also a bit of a ploy. Expecting Yamato to try to dive out of the way, Kirishima is prepared to headbutt him on either side. He's also expecting to punch or wrestle the other man, depending on whether he goes down or stays standing. ]

I like you. Maybe we should hang out after this!

[If this were someone else, that keening noise might make Yamato feel bad, but he's seen exactly how tough Kirishima is, so he knows full well the guy can take that much punishment and more.

Yamato does try to slip out of the way of that charge, and he's pleasantly surprised when Kirishima gets him anyway, slamming him up against the ropes hard. But he's prepared for this too, so both arms lock around Kirishima's neck -- not to choke him, but to keep his head down, pushing him enough to get him bent over enough to make throwing punches difficult.]

I like you too, Red. Loser buys the drinks?

[He follows that remark up by driving a knee at Kirishima's stomach, then another.]

[ Urk!! Guy's got him bent right over. He doesn't need his head or face to throw blows but damn!

Blindly, Kirishima tries to kick out a leg to sweep Yamato off-balance. He's a little flustered.

And then there's a loud 'oof!' as that knee goes up into his gut. Fuuuuck!

Kirishima falls onto his knees, clutching at his stomach with one hand even if he leers up. ]

No... hard feelings when...

[ The redhead grabs at one of Yamato's legs with a hand and a strong arm attached, making to wrench him down onto the ground. It's wrasslin' time, motherfucker. And he's heavier. ]

I FUCK YOU UP!!

[ Kirishima tries to crawl all over Yamato, downed yet or not. He'll fucking weigh him down... and try to give him a punch in the face if it means trying to pin Yamato under him, though he'll go for between the eyes and not the more delicate nose. ]

[Given what they're both like, Yamato's pretty sure this fight ends with one of them as a bloody, dazed mess, and that's just fine by him.

He grunts as Kirishima grabs his leg, wrenching him down onto his back and crawling atop him, and another sharp grunt as that punch hits his face and re-opens the cut across his forehead. Kirishima's heavier, and punching down gives him the advantage, but Yamato's still got a few tricks.

It takes some squirming to get his legs free, but when he does he lifts his hips and brings them up, wrapping them around Kirishima's neck and one of his arms and tightening it into a chokehold.

If Kirishima can't get out of it … well, Yamato might release the hold before he's choked out anyway. Give him a stay of execution the same way the other boy did for him.]

[ Shit... that hold on his neck is fucking good. Kirishima gawks openly down on his opponent when his airway is cut off, admiring and panicked.

But he rears up and drags Yamato up with the gesture. His arms grasp behind Yamato's back to brace the other man as he shifts back on his knees and, impossibly, stands up with Yamato still wrapped around his throat by thighs. Kirishima stands.

And then he releases his hold on Yamato's back, letting the blonde fall back along the stretch of his own body thanks to gravity. Or maybe Yamato knew better. Perhaps he'd grasped onto Kirishima's face with all hands on deck. Maybe he'd been so surprised a dumbfuck would stand when he obviously had a good chokehold on.

Either way, Kirishima hunches over and bodily slams Yamato against the ground like he's the biggest clam waiting to get opened. If he still keeps his stranglehold on Kirishima's throat with his thighs after that, he's earned the victory. If he just cracks, there's no shame in it. They can still fight a little, after. ]

[Yamato does grab Kirishima's head, at least keeping himself from dangling off the other man's neck. All the good that does him -- although it's probably the difference between enduring this and being knocked out cold -- is that when Kirishima slams him down, it's his back hitting the mat and not his head.

It's enough to get him to release his hold, but he doesn't wait for Kirishima to try pinning him again. He rolls away, pulling himself to his feet and backing off a step, arms raised.

He'll let Kirishima come to him, for the time being, and play defense, because even if he's on his feet now, that slam did a lot of damage.]

[ Aerith was completely down for movie night and hanging out with close girl friends.. in her opinion, she needed more to just chill out with, have fun with and yes eat lots of pizza and cupcakes. Now about that movie-- Aerith watched a lot of TV-- she usuallu did it while she crafted and her favorite was admittedly balking shows..

But she had a secret fondness for Serial Killer documentaries and horror movies. (Though once again she wouldnt turn down a good girl flick ). ]

His eyes are so dark brown they look black, making it a little difficult to tell where he's looking, but they shift from Aerith to the clearing and back (also, up and down from her face to her watering can). ]
