He'd pressed both open palms to the tiled wall, ducked his head down to let the water roll down his back. If he'd have known about this mission he'd have told her not to do it. They'd both been trying hard to not be seperated for great lengths of time, look what happened last time. It wasn't worth it, and they worked far better as a team.

He sighed, closing his eyes. Maybe this break would be good, maybe he could shake these thoughts out of his head and stop trying for more. It would be hard work, the first week the hardest but as long as he nagged Fury into giving him stuff to do he might cope well without her in his bed, by his side.

He heard her uneven footsteps, turned his features into a soft smile and leaned back slightly into her fingers. "Hey, you made it hopalong." He'd get a glare for that but he was certainly willing to kiss it away. Turning slowly and moving back so she could fit under the spray too he grinned.
