The arm he's basically just been lying on up to now he pulls out a bit between them, sliding it down around her hip on the cushions and meeting the skin there, trying to see if there's a place where her curves don't quite meet the cushions that he can slide it through further. If not, he can always find something else to do with it. He'll have to be creative though, the choice between up or down when you start near the navel is quite difficult.
