Natasha smiled at the joke, feeling the last shreds of anxiety fading. She knew it wasn’t permanent, that the spells would continue, but for now he was back to himself again.
“I know how much you enjoy that job,” she said, pressing her body a little harder against his with a grin. “I would hate to see you deprived of it.”
Letting Clint pull her closer, she lay still while he adjusted the sheets until he had them to his liking. By the time he was done she was practically on top of him, not that she was complaining at all. Tucking her head under his chin, she snuggled into the warmth and comfort he provided.
