[Rogue keeps her hands in her pockets, not even her usual gloves keeping her fingers warm. It's probably not that good of an idea to be out today, the north wind blowing and the snow laying down its first winter blanket, but she had to get away from her roommate. Kitty is well-meaning, yet all the well-meanings in the world can't keep Rogue from wanting to take a power drill to her head every time she hears the word "like." So she'd made the excuse that she needs to pick up snacks before studying later tonight.

She's about to walk into the convenience store when she sees a familiar figure walk around the corner. Oh, great. Just what she needs. Being a former Brotherhood member, Rogue has a strained relationship with anyone on Magneto's payroll...especially Pyro. Mostly Pyro, actually, since it seems that things flare up between them every time their paths cross. Sometimes literally.

[Eurgh, he hates snow. Too many connections, too many memories he doesn't need anymore. He shakes a flurry of flakes out of his hair and squints through the falling snow, curious when he sees a figure dart into the cover of a nearby store's side wall -

- then a smirk twists his lips when he notices the twin streaks of white hair framing the figure's face. Well. Look who's come out to play.

He slips a hand into his pocket and fingers his lighter idly, turning the corner with that same smartassed smile.]

Rogue. Y'know, it almost looks like you're doing something dishonest, running around the corner to hide like that. Why do they let you out of that pretty cage again?
