stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

[ Whatever response Derek could have to the Shaggy imitation-- good job, Stiles-- is completely lost as the hand continues to rub at his back. There's so much obvious tension underneath Stiles' touch that it's sort of ridiculous, as if the alpha constantly carries a heavy weight on his shoulders.

Which, accurate figuratively speaking, but not exactly the point at present.

He hums, quiet and low, before it slowly deepens into a contented rumble reaching even into his chest. ]

[Well. Jade was guilty of such a thing, but likely not for reasons Rin suspected.

His was for comparative purposes and really more for scientific curiosity; granted he developed an interest in people later, but he didn't take pictures.]

I took several of the women in town. And a few of the men. It was interesting to see all the differences in bodytypes.

[Of course, he's not going to tell her about the time he asked his teacher for a picture and how that went. It did get him to stop though.]

[Rin has kissed a man before, but she's always the aggressor. It puts her off guard a bit to have someone right in her face so suddenly. After a sharp intake of breath, she's right back to her confident self.]

Just how many types of "interesting" can it be to look at people's body types? It's always the scholarly kind of guy that gets off on that sort of thing, isn't it?

[The number one way to get someone to back off is to be blunt, she's found. Hearing language like that out of a young girl's mouth throws almost everyone off.]

[She thought she'd won the little game, so when he moves back in she tenses up, surprised. Being quite the sore loser, Rin refuses to back down herself. There's no way she'll let this guy psych her out. Rin bats her lashes, smirking.]

[ Jack often wondered about that, too. It was mostly his father and his sister, and thus all those around the king who bought in to it. For his own private reasons, Jack found himself with conflicted feelings on faith.

[What the hell, he just kissed her! Who is this guy, anyway? Rin can't help but feel like she might have met her match for once.

Okay, okay, calm down. It's just a kiss, right? He was almost definitely teasing her, he probably thinks she's just a kid who will sputter and flail and then he'll have a laugh. The idea of being stuck in a cabin with this guy after totally losing to him is not a pleasant one.

Rin leans up herself before he can move too far away, giving him a slower and considerably less chaste kiss in return.]

[ Jason paused as his older brother began to roll about. Christ, he had to wonder if he was part dog instead of a bird, sometimes. He moved over to the brunet and stared down at him, but not without the faintest hint of a smirk. ]

That works too! I hear these board games were a big thing back in the late 20th century. Granted, they weren't that schway in the future, just a mention in history books, but it's still really weird to see a board game in the flesh.

[After the initial surprise wore off, Jade returned the kiss, that was only fair, and when she broke it to retort, he smirked again. Why yes, this seemed very familiar.]

They gave up when they learned they might have better luck teaching a rappig. Is there anything else the lady wishes to share?

[Jade was something of a risktaker, if not a closet thrillseeker. He was also very stubborn, no matter the opponent.]

[Kissing someone was not new to her, but having it returned was. It was rather uncomfortable for Rin to discover that she was getting excited in spite of herself. She certainly wasn't going to be the only one uncomfortable here.

Drawing a finger up to her lips thoughtfully, Rin started to move again, this time rubbing herself against him purposefully for a few moments before stopping. It wouldn't do to get herself worked up too, that would just have to be enough. Winking, she reached out to tap him on the nose.]

You want a school girl to teach you that sort of thing? You should be ashamed!
