Or are you?

There's a suspect in your disappearance, someone who absolutely had to take you away by force. The picture's clear to all outside parties.

Except it isn't that clear cut. You've left, yes, and you've been taken, of course, but you weren't strong-armed into it. You went with this person, this suspect, of your own free will. Because you love them, because you can't be together otherwise, because they offer a better opportunity regardless of your feelings towards them, because you want to escape someone else you know for certain you can't love, or just because you can.

Those people who believe you've been snatched away, they don't get it. They don't know you were given a choice...you took it.

human mortals loved, fellow vamps loved, other spooks and supernaturals loved. for human mortals, the contemplation/quandary of turning would add some spice, as that would be a huge dilemma for Am, also an excuse consensual feeding is always appreciated. clearly, assumed cr fine, but also 'pop into your window hello who are you' is hilarious enough on its own. original mid-1800s or modern day options available. }

He's roleplaying again at being the villain kidnapping someone for his students to rescue? Or playing the rescuee? Or could be some investigative superhero thing]

[Normally, a guy like Touma had no business being involved with hero course students. In fact, it's entirely by chance that he's the "kidnapped victim" that All Might chose to test his students with (or rather, his coworkers volunteered him.) Someone like him who has no combat experience or even durability whatsoever is ideal, if a bit risky.

[Meanwhile his company's (Atharati) end of the deal is to offer food and drink to those who worked so hard today. It's not purely a deal out of the goodness of its heart (they get further publicity and an article out of this,) but it's decent enough, and a lot of the food and drink pairings were from Touma's personal recommendations. Admittedly, he's a bit excited for that. He helped work hard on every drink they've ever made, from balancing the flavors to making sure that they were on the healthier side of the spectrum, as far as sports drinks go.

[So now while students in this sort of drill work up to trying to "breech the villain's lair", they have some time to chitchat. Honestly, this is only Touma's second time being up close to any full-fledged heroes (the previous time was a few years ago when he was in a much darker place, and something he'd rather not talk about or even think about right now,) so it's kind of awe-inspiring to be near All Might of all people. He's a lot bigger than the TV ever could convey.

[Still, he's old enough and mature enough to not outright fanboy at the guy. He knows he gets it a lot, so he definitely doesn't want to be "that guy". Might as well play it cool.]

So...

[Ahh, what now? Think Touma, think! Don't try to be witty, he's probably heard all the jokes, too!]

How often do you get to play the villain like this? I mean, if you don't mind answering while we wait for them to get here.

[He flashes All Might a shy, almost-cheeky smile.]

I was a bit too flustered at first to properly speak up, but, also, a pleasure to meet you. Even if it's from something like this.

[He hasn't admitted this, but he might secretly enjoy playing as the villain - not the villains as he actually sees them, but as he'd play one. Theoretically. He'd do it differently. More...everything, really. Louder, bigger; going high instead of kneecapping or going for the jugular like some of the worst ones do. The good news is All Might made sure to prepare for today's heroics lesson. Didn't flex into his super buff, super amazing form until the last minute, so he thinks he's good for a few hours without coughing up his internal organs in front of anyone. So he's doing a-okay. Superhero identity? Intact.

Granted, he thought his students would've gotten through his vexing, vile, and utterly vicious villainous traps by now, though.

Judging from the far off explosions and yells, they haven't even made it past the first one...

Huh.]

OH.

[All Might turns to his ~~commercial volunteer~~ captive in distress. Sorry, he can't help but flex as he turns, all intimidating muscle and a smile that seems to be plastered on his face. He peers at Touma, who's being a very, very good sport at looking like a proper rescuee. He even rattles the handcuffs when he shifts. Wonderful acting!]

THE PLEASURE IS ALL MINE, YOUNG MAN. TOUMA, WAS IT?

[Touma can enjoy the experience of having his hand engulfed in All Might's as he shakes it - gently, so he won't snap his hand clean off his wrist - and the smile is so dazzling it might just be lighting up the dark cave they're in]

PLAYING A VILLAIN IS A VALUABLE EXPERIENCE. CAN'T FIGHT THEM IF YOU DON'T TRY TO PUT YOURSELF IN THEIR SHOES!

[Plus maybe he just likes playing the role. Relatively safely for the students, that is]

[He's no actor, but there's no reason to suppress his instincts to try to move his hands away from each other. He's used to having a hand in his jacket pocket, ready to whip his phone out to take a picture. He can't do that like this, and anyway, his usual creatures of adoration aren't in this dark cave.

[As it is, he sputters a little as he's spoken to by his first name. So used to "Mimasaka-san" and all of that formality, it's rare when anything other than that happens for him. And holy crap, he can kind of tell that Touma's own hand feels relatively small compared to All Might's. He innately wants to retort "I'm not that young" but holds his tongue, instead focusing on how All Might is happily answering his question. And it's dark enough, and his eyes have adjusted enough, that he can make out that bright smile. (And that muscle? Sure, it could be intimidating, but Touma doesn't feel threatened in the slightest by it.)

[Even though the answer makes him think of--. A villain doesn't have to be super buff to be scary. He knows that first-hand. (Try not to think about it....) He takes a slower, deep breath to center himself. The explosions he hears, though far away, are not much help with it, though.]

I see. It's very hard to fight something you're not very certain of, so a simulation-type exercise like this is invaluable to those who are learning.

[Listless, he tries to fix (or rather, un-fix) his hair, only for the handcuffs to rattle and remind him that his wrists are bound together. He brings his hands back down. Rattle, rattle! (Thank god his hands are bound in front of himself. Thank you, mercy. He'd be hurrying to try to play jump rope with his arms otherwise.)]

Well, I'll do my best, too. This isn't my first time being rescued. But it is my first time being clear-headed for the duration. I'm a little nervous that... I might panic for real without meaning to.

[He flashes the hero a bit of a wry smile. He has a few specific triggers, so already having something so close already in place on his body could make things rough.]

(I'm not saying feigning that she's being held hostage/kidnapped is a Classic Karen Page Power Move™ to get out of a tight spot...but I'm also not not saying it either.)

[All Might can't help but peer down at Touma. It's hard not to, when his volunteer's handcuffed to a pillar that forces him to his knees, and he's towering over him like this. He watches as he rattles away at his handcuffs (excellent, maybe that'll draw the students in while they're dragging their feet!). When Touma seems to realize those handcuffs aren't going anywhere, his smile only grows. Those are real. Sure, he could easily reach down and break them. But that'd defeat the purpose of the exercise!

Besides, he figures an ideal villain needs ideal bait]

EXACTLY. VERY OBSERVANT!

[It's going to be so much easier to pass the time with a willing volunteer - wait, shouldn't Touma be his "victim"? - to talk to. Truth is, he thought class 1-A would've been halfway here by now, but clearly they're working things out. Taking their sweet time. Since it isn't very heroic to start rolling his eyes and sighing, All Might instead focuses on Touma]

THAT WOULD SELL THE SCENARIO BUT - !

[And this is were All Might needs to lean in quite a bit so he can be anywhere close to eye level with Touma. He plants his big hands, balled into fists, on his hips]

- REAL PANIC, YOU SAY? HM. [All Might will pause, head tilted to the side, as he studies Touma. It might be hard to see with the dark recesses of his eyes, but he's studying him, eyes raking up and down] MAYBE YOU COULD GIVE ME A SIGN TO END THIS QUICKLY? SOME OF THE STUDENTS ARE STILL WORKING THROUGH THEIR FRIENDLY FIRE TECHNIQUES!

[Touma's figure isn't too out of the ordinary - a little slender at the shoulders, a little wide at the hips - and not terribly muscular. There's a distinct line of tension in his shoulders, too that wasn't there before he was bound to the pillar. As he's kneeling like this, facing the pillar is... not as much of a problem as he worried it would, but that could change if his thoughts take a dive.

[As it is, he continues to watch him. Being looked down at (even not out of condescension) is a little off-putting, makes his hackles want to rise, so to speak.]

Considering that it's difficult to make any gestures like this...

[He rattles his trapped wrists pointedly.]

...a word or phrase will have to suffice.

[More like a safeword. But he doesn't want to... make anyone think about that in this sort of situation.]

How about "peony"? It's an out of the way word given the situation. And.. I appreciate your consideration. I think so long as I'm not touched when I can't see it coming, I will be alright, but in a high-chaos environment like a battle... I know how to handle my own issues, but I don't want to cause panic just by having an attack of my own.

[Considering that his own panic attacks can result in crying fits and, more rarely, vomiting, he doesn't want anyone to think that he's sick or in dire condition. He's very aware of the disconnect of his emotional state versus his logical mind in this regard.]

[character info! best suited as the kidnapper, and would jive especially well with anyone fleeing to gain freedom for themselves, since that's basically her whole backstory. come get kidnapped by pirates!!! ota gen and ships, with a slight preference for f/f if shipping]

It wasn't everyday that Palutena could find time to spend with people that didn't devolve into a usual slugfest, but those times she could, she enjoyed them greatly. And honestly, of all of those she met, Zelda was the best of the bunch. How could she not? The girl seemed so happy it was infectious!

Of course, trying to do so without drawing attention was rough, thus she had to find her away from people before making her appearance behind her.

[Would the princess-turned-pirate like to help kidnap a miserable girl trying to find a way to run away from her cruel noblewoman mother? She would get smitten with a wild pirate pretty easily and be all for getting taken away.]

[Want a thing with a flamboyant space pirate who probably thought he was stealing a weapon, but instead met a hot, sad girl, and said what the hell and stole her anyway? Definitely open to any level of shippy nonsense, but expect him to be highly tsundere about admitting to any sort of soft shippy feelings.]
