Because sometimes, you want to play out goofy, absolutely adorable adoration no matter your character.

You don't have a crush. You're not in love. But you wish you had either of those things, because they're the lesser of all evils. Instead, you have it oh so bad. You're smitten, kitten. Why, every little thing this special person does is magic! Their looks, their personality, their smile - or lack thereof - are the most beautiful you've ever seen. And maybe they're even nice to you when you totally don't deserve it! Whether your acquaintances would describe you as "soft-hearted" or "hard-ass pain in my ass," there's hardly been one as taken as you. Just looking at them makes you weak at the knees, and you think those butterflies in your stomach may be staging a revolt.

Damn it, it's disgusting.

No matter if you're a grown-ass adult or a school kid, you'll feel...uhm, like a school kid. Of course, you probably shouldn't pull any pigtails. Instead, put those conflicting emotions to good use. Admire your object of affection from afar. Hang out with them as much as you can. Be awkward as only you can. Enjoy being in their presence or being close to them because afhhdhflfh they're so pretty and so aaaaahh you're ensnared. Be super nice to them. Dote on them because they're so darn cute. Fulfilling their every whim will get you in good!

Or be a terrible tsundere, as that's all some of you assholes know how to do. Eventually, you'll get over your denial and realize, grizzled warrior-king or megalomaniacal god or bitchy brat you are, you're feeling flushed.

Cutesy, emotional, kind, or young characters might get smitten easily. But part of the fun is seeing completely stoic, inappropriate, or horrible characters get silly quickened heart beats. Of course, said stoic, inappropriate, or horrible characters getting crushed on is just as funny.
RNG for a prompt or just go nuts.

She came to the Vikings on Drogon's back, her silver and gold hair a stark contrast to the dragon's black scales. In one graceful move, she dismounted and walked to stand before him with no visible trace of fear. The large creature was wary of the strangers and his eyes blazed like fire, however he also seemed to be listening to her.

"Let me speak to them first." Daenerys stroked his cheek, her voice firm but gentle, "Hunt away from here. I know you're hungry."

The dragon spread his wings and, for good measure, snapped his teeth at anyone nearby. He made his warning simple: if they should threaten his mother, he would return. With a great flap of those black wings, he took flight. Daenerys watched him - expression a mixture of pride and concern - and then she approached her new hosts.

If they would have her, of course.

"May I speak to your leader?"

Ivar was struck in awe. First of the massive dragon, but then the woman that rode on it's back. Now that was a ruler. He watched the sight from afar and above when she approached Kattegat, watched by even some of the bravest warriors in fascination. It was a shock that they didn't just bow down to her, but instead, they stood their ground.

Ivar retreated to his throne so that when his guards would escort her to him, she would find the leader sitting in a position of power. It wasn't much now compared to dragons, but it's what he had to work with.

He certainly didn't expect her to be so beautiful when she came closer and into view. It made him stall for just a moment before he addressed her, "A woman who rides mythical creatures. Are you here to tell us that we are all mad for what we just saw?" He cracked the joke to a few chuckles. "And who am I to welcome to Kattegat?"

She had no expectation of them bowing; not yet. But she was a conqueror queen and if they treated her poorly, Drogon would return in swift order with one of his brothers in tow and raze this place to the ground. However Daenerys appreciates and values peace, so that was the route she would attempt first.

The laughter didn't faze her; she had experience in being mocked and belittled.

"You are not mad. My child exists and he will not partake of your livestock under my orders." she gave him a cool smile, "I am Queen Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen. I have need of a place to rest for the night if you are willing to be generous."
