There's nothing you can do to distract me from my plan to conquer New York this time, Thor.

[ and what makes loki tick, thor knows, is him. whether they were on opposite sides of an argument or back to back on a battlefield, there was no loki without thor and there was no thor without loki. it was a fact that neither of them would readily admit but that did not mean it wasn't true. ]
And you know I cannot let you do that.
[ there is a small part of him that wants to believe that loki is bluffing, that he's saying all of these words to get a rise from thor but he knows that is the result of too much nostalgia and too many memories. which means one thing: thor is the only thing standing between loki and his domination of the city.
he takes several slow steps closer, the fingers of one hand twitching idly. ]

No, that isn't what he truly desires. The chaos is a nice side effect of it all, to be certain. The best part, however, was drawing Thor to him like a moth to flame.
