[Feel free to message with anything re: canonpoints, assumed cr or canon au, etc. Just trying him so be gentle. OOC anyway. ;D]
[ Despite efforts to cheer him up, Thor's mood has been grim throughout most of the journey toward Midgard.
Now that he's had a chance to breathe, his mind wanders to the loss of his father, of Asgard, and his old friends. Many times he finds himself seeking out Loki just to be sure he's really still there. The sudden responsibility of rule lies heavily upon his shoulders, something he'd tried to avoid before but now has no option but to accept. His people are depending on him, see him as a beacon of hope despite all they have lost.
For all of that, Thor has to remain strong despite his own uncertainties and insecurities. Of those who remain, Loki is the only one who can give him the comfort he requires.
Tonight he sneaks into his brother's cabin well after most have fallen asleep. Shutting the door softly behind himself, he wanders over to the bed where Loki is resting and sits himself down on the edge of the cot. Thor runs a hand through his short hair, eyeing Loki sideways with his remaining eye.
It isn't as though they've never found comfort in one another's arms before, but it has been a long while. Considering everything that has happened in the past few years, it feels like ages have passed since the two have been able to enjoy one another's company without fighting. Maybe, he hopes, tonight will be different. ]
Loki. [ He speaks softly, a slight rasp to his voice. ] I crave your company tonight. Would you share your bed with me?
