The Non-Sexual Kink Meme!

Your sex life isn't the problem. Well, it could be. I don't know about your sex life.

But it's really your life that's lacking control. Or maybe you have urges that you can't get out anywhere else. You can't talk about these things in public without your friends and family shying away from you. So you go somewhere it's safe. Somewhere you've learned that there are people like you.

It's not always the perfect fit. Not everyone falls into clear categories of D/s and some are even looking for nothing like that. The thing that keeps everyone together is that they want to find someone to share their kink with.

So here they are.

Rules:

This playspace isn't about sex. If things get too erotic, there are some motels nearby, but they're not nearly as much fun. Anyone seen participating in sexual activity will be escorted out by the Gamemaster, who watches the dungeon.

The playspace has a clear safe word: violets. If anyone in a scene says that word, the Gamemaster will break up the scene.

Minors aren't allowed in the playspace. Adults are allowed to participate in age play, but no actual minors.

Consent is assumed upon entering. Consent is then assumed until the safe word is spoken. If it doesn't sound consensual, it probably is -- don't break their scene.

People who continually break scene and are causing problems will be kicked out.

Scenarios:

Your character is in the dungeon. Post them with their kinks and other information, such as canon. If you'd like a list of kinks to think on, try this.

Your character is looking for someone to try a kink on. Post to other people's requests for kinks, or, if they don't have it listed, see if they're willing to experiment.

Your character is a Gamesmaster. It's your job to make sure that everyone is having a good time and that things are safe, sane, and consensual. It's also your job to kick troublemakers out.

Your character is a guest, and just wants to watch. Do they get too close to the scenes and cause a problem?

Your character is a bartender. You're dealing with this all going on while you serve drinks. You know that you can't get anyone drunk, or they can't participate in a scene, but they can have a few drinks. Just cut them off when ready.

[ While Ela has a swing of confidence to herself in her leather getup and she's clearly dressed to dominate, she can't help but catch another woman's eye. It's a glance that intrigues her, so she steps on over. Her wings aren't out today, so all you see is a slightly-tall woman, who looks like she dresses only part her age, no matter how young she may look. Even though her skin is darker with her Hispanic heritage, there's a dull pallor to it. Her black hair, streaked with some pink stands out a bit, but considering everyone here, it's not strange at all.

Her steps are slow and controlled as she walks up to Natasha. The only tell that she has that she's a little nervous is how she fiddles with the cuffs around her wrists. ]

{Natasha is dressed rather simply.. Black slacks and a white button down. She doesn't stand out compared to some of the people here but she wasn't looking to do so. She could have easily dressed up, she has the clothes for it, but she thought this was simpler and the simplicity of it slightly ore elegant than what she could have gone for.

She studies the woman for a moment, eying her up and down approvingly before she put son a smile.]

[ Melanie sits down on a comfortable couch and motions for Natasha to sit next to her. ]

Sam Tyler is not at all convinced he should be here.

...actually, no. He's pretty convinced that being here is a bad idea, and he's not at all comfortable here, and he thinks the wisest course of action would be to turn around and walk away. Go back to his flat, have a beer or a shot of whisky or something, maybe put on one of the great classics – you know, Star Wars, or something – and let it drown out all the restlessness in his mind until he can convince himself it was never there.

But he doesn't actually seem to be... moving toward the door. Part of him has latched onto this place, and despite the urge to avert his gaze from everything, despite the nagging fear that someone he knows or someone who knows of him or a tabloid reporter is going to show up and recognize him and make the rest of his life a living scandal... well, he's here.

[No kink list, because the things Neil would like to explore are few and specific.

Want to dom Neil? He wants to be treated like the omega in terms of wolf pack dynamics. [ It's important to realize that Lily is more interested in pleasing others than pleasing herself. She had a very messed up childhood that brought upon Stockholm Syndrome. She got away from that mess, made a new name for herself, and started calling her own shots.

I feel this is important because I don't want to spring sudden trauma backstory on anyone who is looking for more "clean" kink.

Lily is a sub, through and through, but she's a feisty sub who doesn't just lay there and take it. She likes being physically beaten, not just flogged, but psychological torture is the best for her.

Blood and asphyxiation play are nothing she's new to, as well sensory deprivation.

River, in opposition, looks completely at home. Sam catches her eye as she drifts by him, her dreamy expression turning thoughtful as he does, but she doesn't move towards him immediately. She watches him for a few minutes first as she continues to move, contemplating, sizing him up.

She doesn't usually approach people, she waits to be approached, but something about him interests her. She circuits closer to him again, moving up next to him this time.

"Hello." She smiles, warm and still just a little bit spacey. "Something wrong?"

She can feel it strongly enough to answer her own question, the uncertainty in his thoughts, but it's polite to ask -- somebody taught her that here, once, and she tries to remember, when she's having a day where she can -- and it's as good an opener as any.

Sam startles when someone approaches him, and resists the sudden urge to apologize, make excuses – like he's been caught looking in on something he shouldn't have seen.

"I – no," he says, and tries to look less completely-not-at-ease with the situation than he is. It's not a terribly successful attempt. "Just wondering if I'd come into the wrong room, I suppose."

Which is a blatant lie, albeit an involuntary one. His sheer terror of this place – of crossing far outside the bounds of propriety, of putting himself in a compromising position, of admitting there is, as one poet or another put it, something wild and indecent in him, is fighting hard against the bottom-of-the-gut, pit-of-the-throat yearning he's spend most of his life ignoring, and ignoring hard.

He clears his throat and looks at River, taking in her apparent age. Young, and that adds another layer of awkward to an already awkward situation; as much as this place is, so he's told, guaranteed to steer clear of the sexual, River's age still disqualifies her as someone he should be interacting with in this setting.

To his mind.

Despite working with people who take every law of common social conduct and shred it in the nearest dimensional vortex, Sam can be alarmingly tied to convention, at times.

Aurora is probably a good fit for Lily. She's let herself be pleased and hurt her if that is what she wants. She's harder to manipulate than some, as she's a low level psychic and can pick up on intent, but she'll probably do what she wants simply for her own pleasure anyway.

[ For het pairings, he'll always be the aggressive one ( unless i get a sigyn) - even in a gay relationship, he's the same way, but just keep in mind that he won't be the only one making an effort to seduce his partner no matter who they may be. It's been a while since Diana's been to a place like this. Even now that her and Neal are... her and Neal, for all the nuances that entails and that Diana is still kind of working out, she hasn't brought him out like this.

It comes back to her easily enough, though -- there was a time she spent most of her nights off in a place like this, winding down and enjoying the like-minded company.

She leads Neal to the bar with a hand on the small of his back, getting herself a soda before leaning back against the bar -- surveying the place, seeing what might look interesting and what's going on with other, and also watching Neal, seeing both how he looks, and where he looks.

Even though Neal has been to plaes like this, been with people who were interested in this sort of lifestyle, he never delved too deeply. At least not until now.

It's curious, very much so and he's interested in taking it all in, learning everything he can and committing it to memory so that next time, it can all go much more smoothly than this.

So, Diana will probably observe him looking like a kid in candy store, studying everything, grinning and looking quite pleased by everything.
