[Being on the run from another Alpha pack isn't always fun. Okay, it's never fun. Finding a place to just stop, to breathe and let their bodies stop for a moment is all she's been focused on. Before, she could never let herself run at full tilt for hours on end, but now she knows she could almost run forever if her life depended on it.
Right now, though, she wants to stop. Her hand tugs at his sleeve, urging him toward the wooden shack that somehow hadn't fallen over yet. Maybe someone burned it down or maybe it got struck by lightning, but Erica didn't care as long as she could shut the door and not have the whole thing fall down on them. The windows are boarded up, so that at least gives them a bit more time to figure out if someone is going to go through that front door.
It smells dank and musty once they are inside, all the deep breaths she wants to take are now filled with nasty. She really hates her sense of smell right now.]
