(no to fertile and bestiality. pm journal if you want to discuss anything beforehand, please.)
( oh no, our headcanons are super similar!! particularly re: force connection. also your prompt ideas are golden, a+ i love them all. what do you think about maybe fixation/forbidden, with hand-touching goodness? going off of your "kylo joins the resistance" prompt? )
( pass on fertile and bestiality, would prefer non-con be discussed ahead of time! drop me a pm if you have any questions /o/ )
[ most interested in: unexpected, fetish, violent, forbidden, stockholm, corruption, noncon/dubcon
also game for: age difference, cheating, fixation, loose, authority, interspecies, duties, innocence
happy to combine prompts. canon/verse mates and cross canon equally welcome. good with assumed CR for cross canon unless doing a situation that doesn't require it. ]

( man I just realized that's not even my fully updated list.. jesus i need to go through and revise. There's more here if you need any other info/inspo.
Anywho. I can roll with anything :). All I need to know is the canon point we're going from And is there any specific reason/way you want Kylo to join the Resistance? He could have joined because Rey asked him in the throne room, either Rey or Leia were in immediate danger, Hux usurped him and Rey was just "GOTTA GO SAVE THIS DUMBASS NOW". )

( yass, more, i'm a fan!
maybe he joined her shortly after the events of tlj, leia gets kidnapped or some bad shit happens and he and rey end up staring at each other while each individually "saving" her (though leia maintains she had it all completely under control). and rey asks him again to join them and he says yes, and it's more of a like, "oh, wait. now what?" on her part because she didn't think he actually would? does that make sense? )

( ooc; can do! let me know if anything needs to be changed, my assumption was this was a week or so after he came back with them, hence why rey is still in 'holy shit that worked??' mode. also i am so sorry i wrote a novel and much of it is just setup. )
( i can save him. you'll see, ben's still in there. the impassioned speech that had become her mantra over the last few months, said a million different ways to a million different people, mostly met with disbelieving shock, and eventual shrugs once they realized she wasn't kidding. leia, to her credit, had never doubted rey, though rey had felt as though she was just opening old wounds by continually bringing it up. so she'd internalized it, kept it close to her heart even as she guarded her mind against the force link that still kept her connected to kylo ren, even after all of this time.
they hadn't seen each other face to face again until leia had been snatched by the first order on a routine transport mission in the outer rim - too close to their new base for comfort. rey hadn't even paused to listen to reason, hadn't stopped to hear what grand plan poe had concocted - no, she'd vanished in the night with her lightsaber in hand, taking the fastest speeder she knew they could spare. even finn hadn't known she was leaving. but leia was.. leia was.. whatever she was, rey wasn't taking any chances.
she didn't expect to run into another person in the midst of a rescue - someone who'd had all the advantages of being known and friendly with the first order, and hadn't needed to slice their way through half a guard force just to get into her cell. if rey had to name the look on leia's face anything, it'd be amused as she looked between her son and rey and then back again.
come with us, an old offer, with none of the hope behind it she'd had before. please. it doesn't have to be like this.
except he'd said yes and then they'd had to scramble to escape safely and now a week later -- rey didn't know what to do with the space that her mantra had left behind. it'd been a quiet ride back to their base, where they'd been met with uproar and politics as everyone deliberated on what to do with kylo ren now that he was on their planet and had seen their hideaway. rey, given an honorary seat at the proceedings, had nearly lost her temper at any suggestion that he be killed or locked away for good - only leia's calming hand in hers had kept her from giving the council a piece of her mind.
in the end, he was her charge. or she was his. something like that. with luke really, truly gone this time - she needed a teacher. and he needed to be watched... and guarded against all of the remaining rebels who had a bone to pick. rey and his mother were his chaperones, with leia present at all of their trainings to be sure that he wasn't 'corrupting' her (as if he could, as if she would let him).
rey couldn't stop watching him. past what was proper as his jailer and his bodyguard, past what she had ever anticipated. after a week together, she knew the jut of his jaw almost as well as her own, knew that when his lips were taut at either end he was hiding his feelings, could tell by his stance when he was grieving (often), or when he was angry. she'd been too afraid to reopen the connection between them now that they were so close in proximity, but the force seemed not to give a damn what she wanted, and so the emotions passed between them freely - confused and angry, mostly on her side, and unknowable (grief, sadness, hurt, betrayal?) on his. he was in her head. he was right before her.
kriff, he was everywhere.
they take their meals separate from the others in leia's quarters - risking the rebel mess at a time like this didn't seem wise. leia had been called away, official business, and so here they were. rey, kylo ben, and an old lamp that could have been from the stone age, flickering every now and then. she'd snuck looks at him in between bites, finding too often that he was looking back at her more steadily, his eyes dark in the low light.
finally rey was unable to stand the silence. )
What is it? ( her words are sharp, but her tone isn't - at least, not really. ) You keep... ( staring at me, looking at my hands, meeting my gaze.. she struggles for something that won't out her as staring as well, and ends up with: ) You're making a strange face.

[ The only thing that made training more awkward than his mother watching him like a hawk? Not being allowed his lightsaber. A "Temporary precaution" which was laughable considering what he could do with his mind, but it was a show of good faith. That he was dedicated to the Resistance and wouldn't turn on them.
Which was a reasonable request given his main motivations for leaving were......... questionable.
Of course-- as soon as he heard that Hux had ordered an ambush which had led to the capture of one Leia Organa did he realize he had no other choice but to act. He still remembers the way Hux's eyes bulged out of his head as the Force constricted his neck at Kylo's command, how the General had dug his fingers into his own neck, as if that could lessen the pressure and allow him breath. He nearly killed him, but Hux had the bested him and if he had taken the time to end his life... Well... his mother would have already been gone.
He'd felt Rey's flickering signature, a bright shot in the darkness as he'd made his way there. He'd fully expected once he'd herded them off to whatever ship they'd use to escape that he would have to fend for himself. Either take his own ship out or die right there fending off any back up.
Instead he was given a choice. One he hadn't fully realized he'd taken until they were in hyper space and he was left staring awkwardly at the back of his mother's head.
He'd been asked over and over to expand why he'd saved his mother. Why had he left the First Order. Why had he done the things he done. And each time his responses seemed to infuriate or vex those who were interrogating him. He saved his mother because he had no other choice in his mind. He left because he knew he would die otherwise.
His beliefs, his ideals-- they hadn't really changed. But as of now they were shelved, he was at the mercy of others, he could no longer restore the balance of the galaxy. End chaos. He had to come with that on his own terms.
Which, of course, meant his attention was somewhere else. Well... Someone else.
His eyes drift to Rey more than he'd like to admit. Studies her profile, the way her hair would brush her shoulders when it was down, the freckles on her skin, how she looked when she laughed. She never laughed or him--hell, she hardly smiled around him-- but when he caught her with her friends in the distance, or speaking with Chewie or any number of things. She was different around them.
It was as infuriating as it was depressing honestly.
Maybe this was his punishment for what he'd done. What he'd caused. Always observing as others could make Rey smile and laugh and be buoyant while he was some physical twisted reminder of the failures of his own family. The failure of the original Rebellion.
And he could feel how unnerved she was by him watching her, but it's not as though it bothered him. He was used to people being unnerved by him simply by existing. The only thing which eased it now was that he didn't have his mask. Something which Poe had commented on colorfully. He'd ignored the chatter for Poe's sake really. It wouldn't do to kill the Resistance's best pilot just for being irritating after all.
So she asks her question in the flicking light as they eat some godawful ration that's possibly older than him and he considers how to answer her. ]
How is my face strange?
[ His voice is soft and even as always. And honestly. He's just fucking with her. He knows very well what she means and he won't give her an answer until she's tripped over her own words. ]

/o/ let me know if any of her body language read on him is wrong/god-modey and i'll fix it!
( she falls for his goad, maybe because despite her place in the rebellion now she still wasn't used to people. or he just threw her off guard by being himself, and she didn't know how to adapt for it. either way, her cheeks flare with color and rey sets her fork down, resigning herself to be done with dinner and to seeing this through until the end. )
Not your face. ( at least that bit is somewhat coherent, shared in a rush as though to get it all out there. ) Your face is fine. ( wince. ) That is, there isn't anything wrong with your face. It's just a face. ( double wince. ok, time to move on. )
The look on your face. Like you're... ( this time if she's struggling for words, it's because she doesn't know what to call the look on his face. rey is learning that she's always been transparent - every expression and every motion of her body betraying her feelings - and now is no different. her brow furrows in thought, her eyes searching the flickering lamp light as though it could hold the answer. )
Like you're memorizing something. ( memorizing me. she settles on, finally, pushing her rations away from her and leaning forward, hands clasped before her. unable to stop the impulse, she sweeps a gaze over him, looking for clues. his shoulders seem more relaxed than normal, so he's not angry (yet). is he .. being purposefully dense?
she can't ever truly guess what he's feeling and she's too stubborn to use the force bond between them intentionally, too afraid of what that would open up. )
Just .. forget it.
