When Finn returned he looked at him and held up his hands in a little 'surrender' gesture. "You can do it, not gonna hear a protest from me." Partly because Poe felt like he lost the right to be stubborn about any of this when he managed to get himself temporarily captured.

That didn't mean he liked it though, even if it was necessary. He'd never really been a good patient; there had been more than a couple times over the years where Poe played off an injury as not bothering him as much as it really was, or outright didn't mention one, if he knew that the truth would get him grounded until he healed up. Like some said, easier to ask forgiveness after the fact than sit around worrying and not take action.

In this instance Poe did his best to sit still and let Finn do what he needed to do, holding back any grumbling or urges to stop him. Eyes on the other man, Poe was quiet for a minute or two, and then, "Back in the alleyway, did you... hear me? I kinda tried to tell you what was happening but I wasn't sure how to do it." He absently bit at his lower lip, feeling a flicker of nerves as the adrenaline was finally starting to fade.
