The AU and Crossover Grab Bag Meme

This is the meme for muns who love all kinds of AUs and crossovers.

[How To]

1. Post as your character. (Please write down the name and canon/fandom of the character in the subject line, and also if they're canon, AU, crossover or OC, etc. Please also write down preferences, etc in the comment box)

2. Choose a scenario, or any combinations of any scenarios you want to try out. Making up your own scenario is fine, too! Either mun can make the suggestions for a scenario.

3. Thread, tag and have fun!

[Sample Scenarios]

1. [AU] The Role Switch AU - Main Character, Side Character - The main characters are now supporting characters, and the supporting characters are now main characters.

2. [AU] The Role Switch AU - Main Character Group Role-Switching - If your character's canon has a main character duo, or a main character group, swapping roles around inside the group is alright, too. (Example(1) The Fighter is now in charge of strategy, while the Strategist is is in charge of the fighting... Example (2) It's a Five Man Band kind of group, and the Hero has been swapped with the Smart Guy.)

3. [AU] The Role Switch AU - Main Character vs Opponent Character or Rival Character - The main characters are now the opponents or rivals of the story, while the opponent characters or the rival characters are the main characters

4. [AU or Crossver] Through the Wormhole We Go. The characters have fallen through a wormhole, etc, into another world.

5. [AU or Crossover] World Fusion. Your characters have now been AU'd into a world with elements from all kinds of fandoms/canons, genres, or original worlds.

6. [Crossover] AU'd Into Another Canon/Fandom. One or both of characters have now been AU'd into a world from a different canon/fandom from their original one.

7. [AU] AU'd Into Another Genre. One or both of characters have now been AU'd into a world with a different genre from their original one.

8. [AU or Crossover] Now We Are AU Versions Of Each Other. One or both characters who are threading have been turned into AU versions of each other. Example - Tsukino Usagi has tagged Bruce Wayne, and they are now Bat Lady and Tuxedo Bat.

9. [AU] Alternate Timeline. Things have changed in the character's world's timeline, and there are many differences, big and small. Example - Bruce Wayne's parents didn't end up dead when he was a child.

10. [AU] AUs that aren't Alternate Timelines, But Are Different Worlds Entirely. Example - The canon was historical drama, the AU version has dragons and magic.

11. [AU or Crossover] Summoned To Another World. One or both of the characters have been summoned to a different world - Either to save the world, or for a different reason entirely.

[The AU in mind is that Rory doesn't remember a thing about Amy or the Doctor, he's just this inexplicably plastic man living on and on and on through the centuries. Anyone want to catch up with him? Any time period. Run a canon by me if you like, we'll see if they fit.]

[Spoilers for the Madoka Series : Kyubey is a manipulative trickster type, but he does have the power to grant most kinds of wishes. In return for that, he wants people to be Magical Girls (or Magical Boys, in this case) and fight Witches. What he usually doesn't tell them is that Magical Girls either end up dead or turning into Witchs themselves, eventually.]

My name is Kuba, and I am not really a cat, though I know I look like one.

[Kuba bounces over to him.]

And I really can grant wishes. All kinds of wishes.

Isn't there anything you want more then life itself, Mr Harris? Why, I can grant you almost any wish you can imagine!

...goodie. I've finally lost it. [Billy sits down on a nearby convenient bench, pressing his fingers to his forehead.] The doctors were right, I really am depraved. Now magic wish cats are talking to me.

[He stares at the cat, wondering how he should feel about this. Embrace it and be a mad artist? Check himself back into Arkham? Run like hell?] Wishes, huh?

...The doctors said you were depraved? They must have not been very good doctors.

[Kuba smiles again.]

But da! I truly can grant wishes - And in return, you can be a Magi and fight Witches. Witches are very dangerous, you see, so me always need more people to fight them...

[hypnotic_patter]

They were horrible at it, but then again I am talking to a cat.

[He hears its little speech out, smiling in amusement at his own ridiculous situation.] They do sound like it. What with being witches and all. [He laughs.] Sure, I'll fight your witches. Just give me everlasting fame and a record deal and I'll get right on that.

[doomeddaughter]

[Kuba smiles, and points his pipe at Billy.]

...As you wish.

[There is a great surge of energy, coming out of Billy himself - And next, a shining gem comes into being, and plops into Billy's hands.]

Your wish has been granted! That is your Soul Gem, and you need it to function as a Magi, so please try not to lose it.

[What Kuba is not mentioning is that Billy's very mind and spirit has been downloaded into the Soul Gem, and wouldn't be able to function at all if he lost his Soul Gem, as his body would just stop functioning if it was taken too far away...]

Uh. Okay. [Billy is still quite sure this is a hallucination, but for now he's rolling with it. He turns the gem over in his hands, finding it to be suspiciously solid and realistic.] I'll do that. What's a Magi?
