[full disclaimers: my comics knowledge ends at vol. 2 issue 24 and I play Karolina most-entirely from the TV show universe but I'm obviously up for melding things; that said, what sort of scenario would you fancy?]

[ Heh, no worries. In Volume 3,#6, the Majesdanians, Karolina's people, come for her, blaming her for the war with the Skrulls that has gone on and on. The kids fought them, but the bad guys were too strong. In order to protect Karolina, Xavin knocks her out and impersonates her and is taken away, and in the series thus far, never seen again.

As far as the television series, maybe Xavin's family could be a extra family in the group, and Xavin could be one of the 'kids' in the team, and they learn s/he is an alien, but s/he is taken away and not seen again, then escapes after the end of the series and finds Karolina again, having fallen for her?

[ usually, when pulling from canon, I have used they/them, or ze/zir, but with Xavin starting off from thinking they are a boy, maybe, but with some weird feelings, like they do not belong, I might start off using he, and transition into something else as Xavin explores his/her self and new identity? If that makes sense. ]
