Darcy thought she caught a brief look downwards and felt a small thrill of victory. Whatever Bruce might be - hero, tortured soul, genius scientist - he was also human. She raised her eyebrows high and then let out a little snort as he held up the notorious book. "Oh, really?"
She laughed when he practically tossed it aside and shuffled the books on his bedside table around. "That's quite a selection you've got there, Doc," she said, leaning over to get a look at all of them as he moved through them. She put her hand lightly on his shoulder as she peered over it.
She hummed when he pulled out the book he was actually reading. "That should put you to sleep in no time."
She grinned, nodding towards the table. "Mind if I borrow one of those? I think the adrenaline of escaping Star Wars guy is making it kind of tough to sleep."
