The Sexy Magic Meme

incantations
1. aguamenti - creates a powerful jet of water, useful for slip 'n' slides and wet t-shirt contests.
2. ascendio - makes the targeted object rise. essential for those days when you can't get going.
3. carpe retractum - draws the targeted object towards the caster. "get over here," indeed.
4. duro - hardens the target object. who can't think of a good use for this?
5. engorgio - makes the targeted object grow larger. for those for whom size matters.
6. flipendo - causes the target to land on their back.
7. geminio - creates duplicates of the targeted object. wouldn't it be neat if it worked on people?
8. gripping charm - used by professional Quidditch players to hold onto the broom and the quaffle. it improves your grip in all situations.
9. immobulus - freezes the target. hold still for a moment, won't you?
10. incarcerous - binds the target with ropes. the possibilities are endless.
11. obscuro - blindfolds the targeted object. combine with incarcerous for a really good time.
12. weasleys' patented daydream charm - creates a thirty-minute, highly realistic, daydream. side effects include drooling and a vacant stare. what will you dream up?
13. supersensory charm - allows the user to see and feel things beyond what they normally would. what happens if you cast it on your partner ... and yourself?
14. invent-your-own - got an idea for a charm not listed here? take some time and invent a brand new one.

potions
1. beguiling bubbles - a temporary love potion that, it is rumoured, might cause a brief, intense spike of arousal if too much is given.
2. chelidonium miniscura - no one is quite sure of the full effects of this bright yellow potion, but some drinkers have reported increased sensitivity all over their bodies.
3. dizziness draught - causes the drinker to become temporarily light-headed - with, some have implied, a loss of inhibitions along with that loss of balance.
4. felix felicis - one drop of this golden potion gives the drinker incredible luck for a short amount of time. for those looking for luck ... or to get lucky.
5. girding potion - temporarily boosts the drinker's strength and endurance. a necessity for those extra-long days.
6. invigoration draught - gives the drinker a second wind after they've worn themselves out. invaluable when the mind is willing but the flesh is weak.
7. polyjuice potion - with just a strand of hair or a fingernail clipping, this potion will change you into a perfect replica of another person. ever wanted to play with yourself? how about your worst enemy?
8. potion #7 - a mysterious concoction brewed by a student, no one is completely sure what it does. however, most drinkers report extremely pleasurable effects ... sometimes multiple times.
9. volubilis potion - this aquamarine potion changes the drinker's voice however they want. does your partner fancy an Irish lilt or a southern drawl? fulfil their deepest (voice-related) desires.
10. brew-your-own - know a potion that does something else besides the ones listed here? go ahead and make it. we've got all the lacewings you need.

locations
1. the castle - whether it's an imposing fortress of stone on a windswept scottish moor or a posh hotel on the las vegas strip, there's going to be an abundance of interesting nooks and crannies to discover.
2. in town - is it feast day in your local village or a street festival in new york city? no matter where or when, you're in public and you want to get up to some mischief.
3. at home - it doesn't matter if it's a country manor, a quaint one-room cottage, or a grimy flat in chicago, be it ever so humble, there's no place like it.
4. the bar - maybe you're quaffing mead or sipping the latest cocktails, but either way, you're in the mood for some fun and you've got your eye on someone special.
5. the back room - do you have the authorization to be back here? if you've snuck in or if you're an employee, there's tons of experimental charms and potions back here, and (if you're lucky), they might even have labels.
6. the woods - if you're camping out here temporarily, lost, or live there on purpose, there's trees, grass, clear skies and no one around to see.
7. somewhere else - in the sky, in the ocean, on the land, anywhere else in between - find yourself somewhere fun.

In hindsight, social drinking wasn't such a great idea. Martin lost track of his drinks half an hour ago, laughing more than usual, dry, polite smiles shifting to toothy grins. Daedra take Sanguine, his ignorant, power-hungry youth, and Anders.

The Thedosian mage flirting hasn't gone unnoticed. But while a sober Martin keeps himself in control, his inebriated self isn't so proper. Anders is sitting on the barstool next to his, straw-colored ponytail swaying with each laugh, leaning against the counter. Varric flashes Martin an obsequious look, as if saying, aww, look at these two, then leaves.

Daedra take the dwarf too.

Nursing his drink is an afterthought at this point, there's hardly anything left in the glass. Anders mentions something about magic, Martin too focused on the sharp angle of his jaw to hear it. Something about fire and frost, apparently.

"Fire is good for...massages," he purrs, mental filter between his mind and mouth gone. "Here, let me show you..." His hand reaches to cup Anders' chin, thumb circling idle patterns on his cheek. "See?" His fingertips are warm to the touch, molten wax and concentrated sunlight. "It's the first element I mastered."

Anders can't really remember exactly what they were talking about either at this point, probably something about the differences between their worlds before he started rambling on about magic and such things. Martin's company has reminded him how much he misses being able to discuss the finer points of certain schools and spells, and while things are different between their worlds - he can still recall the shock of seeing the other mage summon something that would have been considered demonic by many people of his world - it's all similar enough to stir an ache within him.

But the discussions all fade from his mind as Martin makes that comment and reaches out to cup his chin, stroking warm fingers over his skin and waking an entirely different sort of ache within him.

"And did you use it for things like this before?" Anders asks, his own largely empty glass forgotten on the bench beside him. "I've found there's all kinds of things a skilled mage can do. If he thinks about it."

Grinning rather lopsidedly, Anders reaches out for Martin, his fingers brushing over his jaw and lips, trailing a tingling current as they move. "Maybe we could show each other what we know..."

Magic is magic, whether in Thedas or Tamriel. And, apparently, so are mages. Martin raises an eyebrow, the implication behind Anders' words not lost to him. When you can summon fire, frost or sparks at will, only the purest of souls refuse to use their skills creatively. Martin was—is—no exception.

"Of course," he answers, not bothering to be coy. "Ah, so you're the sparks kinds of mage..." Wild, spontaneous, brilliant. Martin focuses on the tingling sensation, cheeks and lips taunt, a shudder coursing through him. Two honey-brown freckles decorate the back of Anders' hand, something Martin never noticed before.

Martin swears he hears an about time, ladies before the door into the make-shift bar closes, leaving both mages alone. "Divines, yes," emboldened by their solitude, Martin closes the distance between them, pressing his lips to Anders' as his hand reaches for his ponytail, trying to pull off the hairband.

"It always did get the better reaction from people," Anders admits, his grin widening a bit as Martin shudders under his touch. It's nice to see that that part is still the same for Martin as well, and Anders' mind is already starting to come up with other things he can show the other mage, see what he likes and where...

But this is definitely the best place to start. Martin's lips are warm against his and Anders reaches up to thread his fingers through the other man's hair in turn, tugging him closer and opening his mouth into the kiss. It's perhaps sloppier than it would have been if he weren't drunk, but his tongue traces against Martin's lip all the same and he can't help but chuckle a little into it as the tie in his hair comes loose and he feels it tumbling around his face. It seems that they both want this very much, and part of Anders can't help but agree with Varric's comment on the situation. About time indeed.
