( Serenity is the only child and heir of a powerful, ethereal queen. All of her life, she's been greatly sheltered, leading to her not knowing much of the universe outside her castle walls. Her personality is that of a sweet, albeit naive and sometimes childish young woman whose love for those around her is ultimately her greatest strength - and downfall. However, it seems that a degree of melancholy is present in her; her story, after all, is ultimately a cosmic tragedy.

tl;dr Slightly prim, a little proper, mostly emotional. Kindhearted but with an air of sadness. Otherworldly. Tends to love fast and destructively.

I'm here for all your dramatic, torrid affairs of the heart involving royalty, rival factions, commoners, knights, princesses, class differences, messy emotions, and potential bloody tragedies. Let's AU our characters into whatever world you'd like to cook up. I can provide prompts if you'd like.

Additionally, something I'm really interested in is playing up her more inhuman, unearthly qualities. What comes to mind is spinning her into a pagan god-queen where she retains her kindness, yet her proclivity towards unbridled emotions can spill out into ruthlessness. My general framework is something of a mother goddess meets Daenerys from Game of Thrones. IDK, IDK, I'm just thirsty for a different twist. )

[It takes Yuri some time to get used to it -- the fact that he'll be training in Paris rather than his home rink, that Lilia thinks he needs to be exposed to things beyond his element. The old ballerina is strict, to say the least, so it's not like he has any choice, even if he wants to argue -- and as strict ~~and scary~~ as she can be, her methods have been more than effective with him, having helped propel him to the gold medal platform at the Grand Prix. So Yuri finds himself in France, splitting his time between the ice and the studio, until Lilia gives him his assignment. Go to the ballet, watch the stage for a particular young man and pay attention to his everything: form, flexibility, the quality of his movements. And don't you dare turn up to the show in a hoodie.

The little blond skater does as he's told, and it's not difficult to zero in on exactly who he's been told to observe, because there is something remarkable about the man on stage -- it's less like the music moves him, and more as though it's the dancer who compels the music. Yuri can't look away. He can't look away the second, and third time he returns to the audience either.

And then, through some old connection, old favor, or just good old-fashioned strong-arming, Lilia arranges a meeting. A small mirror-walled studio, a room like those Yuri has spent a great deal of time in. And one meeting leads to another, discussions of technique, pointers, tutelage, and Yuri is surprised to discover he finds Emmanuel Bonhomee just as compelling off the stage, if not more.

It takes him some time, of course, to admit it to himself. Never mind admitting it to Manu, to anyone else. He's on that precipice though, at least it feels that way, like he's gaining momentum for a jump, ready to kick off the ice and fling himself into the air. Something like that.

Tonight he bursts into the studio accompanied by a rush of cold air from the winter evening beyond, cheeks flushed from the chill, hood drawn over his hair covered in stray snowflakes that begin melting near immediately.]

Hey, Manu? [He calls out as he makes his way into the room,] I'm kinda late, I know. Did you stick around?
