You're now stuck dealing with someone who you don't know very well, in a vaguely negative way at best, for the foreseeable future. Awkward. How do you handle it?

...you should know the drill by now! (And it will pierce the heavens.) You post, other people reply to you, you reply to other people, good times.

And if you're stumped on how to start, fire up the usual RNG and...

1) They're your ex's brand new significant other! And you're trapped in an elevator, you're stuck doing the drinks run for a party together, you're waiting in line and have a choice: deal with them, or go all the way back to the rear. (In the event that you're single, replace 'ex's brand new significant other' with something along similar lines: fellow competitor who won a competition you lost, fellow interviewee who got the job you didn't...)

2) They're your co-worker at your new job! You may define job liberally: you're mercenaries aboard a ship, bounty hunters, random warriors that the king of some nation pretty much smashed together and ordered to go forth and slay the big bad.

3) You don't know each other at all, but you're suddenly in very...very...very close quarters with them. The bus is packed and now you're practically grinding each other, soldiers were coming and you hid in a closet together, whatever. Added bonus if UST doesn't immediately spark up because someone (not saying who) could use a breath mint or whatever.

4) Aside from one embarrassing moment from the not-so-distant past, you don't know them at all and figured that the two of you would never meet again. You were wrong, and it looks like the two of you will be working together for the greater good...so quitting isn't an option. (Replace good with evil if you're a morally ambiguous sort.) And you'll be doing so for a very long time.
