Everyone can use some advice on their RP and writing skills from time to time. For this HMD meme, let's try things a little differently. While I absolutely, firmly believe that the answer to the question, "How am I doing?" can be "You're doing great!" let's leave the total love floods for another meme.

For this HMD meme, if you see your favorite RPer list their characters here and you really want to shower them with love, combine it with specifics. "I love you because..."

Similarly, "You suck. Stop playing," is not appropriate crit either.

Let's all focus on the constructive side of constructive criticism.

I think you need to try and stop forcing your AUs onto other people just because you have no interest in current canon. I saw your OOC notes referencing an old player you used to play with as being more quality than anyone else, and frankly, it put me off wanting to attempt tagging with you anymore because it came off as extremely elitist and offensive to any new people you were tagging with. Why bother even trying to continue tagging those you don't deem quality enough for your standards?

You appear to want to write Puck as his characterization is in early Season 1, and ignore any development he has made over the past two seasons. Puck has grown extensively through his canon experiences, right up to relenting the badass attitude to let Quinn and Beiste help him graduate. You seem to ignore all of it. As an up-to-date Glee writer, I found it awkward trying to tag with your character because he seemed viced in the past with no desire to change or accept where canon has come. AU is fine, but keep it to PSL and don't try to force it onto players working in current canon. It's just ultimately rude, and it was annoying to see you blatantly trash a fandom you're still attempting to write in.

I don't think complaining about other people's AUs is what we're supposed to be doing here, tbh.

If you don't like any AU, just don't tag them. Simple and easy!

AUs are all well and good in their place, and I play in many. However, when posting a character in a random/open comm? One generally isn't looking for someone to tag them pushing their AU into the scene with someone who's completely unrelated to said AU.
