Option One: The Portal Looks like you're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy. Your character has arrived in a strange new world, among strange new people. Maybe they touched something they shouldn't?

Option Two: The Fusion Don't want to bother with culture shock? AU your character into another's milieu, or maybe it's the best of both worlds. Your vampire is now a Starfleet ensign, your bronzerider is now a Mr. Darcy clone, whatever.

Option Three: The Pocket Dimension Milliways. Callahan's Crosstime Saloon. The Wood Between the Worlds. Both characters have found their way into some kind of liminal universe where this kind of thing just happens.
