Raki felt the attraction too. And it confused him because he would never have thought he would become the kind of man that a well accomplished woman like Dani would be attracted to. It was almost too hard to believe. Was he imagining it? More than likely. He would prefer to not be kicked out of the school or suspended for coming on too strong, but he didn’t want to miss this opportunity no matter how small the chances are. He contemplated if the consequences would be worth it just so he wouldn’t have to ask the question of ‘what if’ later.

He gives a nod to her question before explaining. “To be honest... I just couldn’t imagine doing any of this without you.” And despite how wrong it might have been, Raki places his hands over hers again on the table. “ I owe you so much that I— I don’t know where I’d be if it wasn’t for you.”
