Cultures handle sex incredibly differently. While it may be casual in some societies, in others, the act of copulation equates with commitment. And that's all in one species! This gradient of reactions and attitudes becomes even more complicated with the addition of different species. Yes, species...sentient and sapient, of course! Be those races alien, magical, vampiric, angelic, animalistic, or even a vague mutation of humanity itself, all have a somewhat nuanced view of what sex should be, be it healthy or unhealthy. There's probably even other ways to go about it for them, not to mention the variation in the actual mechanics. How presumptuous to assume that everyone in this whole wide universe would be shaped exactly like bland ol' humans? Throwing two species together for a sexual rendezvous is inadvisable, yet it happens. Specifically, it happens in this meme. Whether the encounter is nervous, romantic, non-consensual, awkward, sexy, or anywhere in between, there's bound to be baggage, unfamiliarity, and the ultimate culture clash. Comment with your character, your character's species, and your detailed preferences, because this meme will definitely push some boundaries. Mention if you're open to assumed CR and AUs. I was fairly liberal while making this meme. Human-mutants or genetically modified humans can count as a different species, because I know there are a lot of those in DWRP. Feel free to AU characters to be any species you want. Vampire AU! Angel AU! Alien AU! Go crazy. Reply to others. Use the RNG to determine your scene. First Meetings: Don't you know it's the tradition of their homeland to have a tryst after introductions. Long Awaited: You've been involved for a while now, and the shoe's about to drop. Actually, you don't want them to see just what you've got going on, so you've been coming up with outlandish excuses not to have sex. That ends now. It also has to be done naked. Alliance and Marriage, Same Thing: To negotiate peace between your species and theirs, you've got to put a ring on it. It's for an Experiment!: You two just want to see if your kind can ever be together. Changed: Somehow, you've been morphed into whatever they are. They're going to be a pal and show you around in your new body. Difficulties: Okay, there's going to have to be some thought about the logistics here. It's not going to be an easy wham-bam-thank-you-m'am. Modification: Maybe you can't do the classic penetration, but there are other ways to get off. Power Up: There are interesting ways you can put abilities to use. Hurt: You didn't mean to, but you hurt them physically. Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder: They're actually the most gorgeous specimen back home. You're the ugly one! Well, not exactly to them, but you do look a little funny. When Raynie had been brought onto the ship, she'd just been a shapeless blob transported aboard with the help of a bucket. She'd clearly been intelligent, though, seeing as she'd crawled into said bucket in order to try and be rescued in the first place. And she seemed harmless, so she was allowed to wander the ship.

It hadn't taken her long to figure out who was in charge, and what the others who took his orders had in common. So after finding enough liquid to adsorb to give herself a bit more mass, she spent some time giving herself a shape. A head, with hair and a face. A body, then arms, and a chest - a big one, each mound about the size of her head. If that was too big or too small, she could just change them later. Then a waist, hips and legs... for now. It was very tempting to let everything below the knees melt into a puddle, it was easier than walking! Maybe after she'd showed off.

So when the captain returned to his room (it didn't matter that the door was shut, it wasn't airtight, so she's just leaked through the frame) he'd find Raynie in the middle of it. Still blue, still a bit see-through. But now that green tentacle was hair, and she was standing up in a very curvy human shape.

Takeo had never really felt the call of being an explorer, so much--at least, not in the sense of someone who hungers to see the unknown, and so forth. He'd been on the uncharted planet not to see wonders never before seen or to bring abstract knowledge back to civilization or any of that nonsense. He'd blown holes in a company vessel in order to steal what he wanted from it; he hadn't quite anticipated, though, that the ship's AI had instructions to self-destruct rather than letting its good fall into the pirate's hands. He'd managed to disable the ship's main engines so they couldn't overload, but before he'd taken control of the auxiliary engines, the AI had already set the ship to crash into the nearest planet. It had been a near thing, gaining enough control to make the landing relatively soft, but it had cracked the drive section of the ship open.

Once his crew had joined him, it was quick work retrieving what they'd needed from the vessel, before the AI could reactivate the engines and destroy itself. It was then they happened upon the goo-creature, barely more than a puddle trying to flow uphill away from the heat and radiation of the engines. Takeo had ordered his crew to finish the looting, and fashioned a makeshift bucket, himself, from hull metal of the crashed ship, bending it in his hands and welding it shut with a plasma arc. He'd been surprised when the puddle oozed eagerly into the bucket, as though it knew what was going on, but he knew fully metamorphic beings existed--this just happened to be a new one.

With the creature in the custody of one of his bridge bunnies officers (they really didn't have the time to slum around on the uncharted planet trying to figure out if there were other slime-creatures to return it to), they'd returned to his ship. The now bucket-dwelling puddle had been transferred to the bathtub in an empty room; they had no idea what it might need, but assuming it needed water, they'd filled a container from the tub's faucet and left it there. That being the case, it had been easy for her to get all the water she wanted--cold, or warm, if she wanted to replicate the warmth of the humanoids.

She'd had plenty of time, as well, before he returned to his quarters, where he'd paused in the doorway--and then smirked slowly, raising his eyebrows. He recognized certain features, but, well, she certainly didn't look like a puddle any more.

"...well. You do clean up nicely, don't you."

He hadn't really planned this head, but in retrospect, perhaps handing the bucket off to his bustiest officer had been a good choice. He paused just a moment long before approaching her, inspecting her "craftsmanship," so to speak.

"I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Captain Takeo Masaki, and besides being dressed to impress, you are..?"

It had been water she wanted, and she'd figured out how to get more quickly enough. Then she'd set her mind to getting here. If one wanted to split hairs, she wasn't a true metamorph; her composition was still the same, and she still had the same mass. She was definitely a shapeshifter, though, and there was clearly something odd about her if she could assemble her goo into a defined vertical structure without any apparent source of rigidity. But that was something of more interest to the process; she didn't have any experience with humans before today, but she could already tell he was more interested in the result.

"Raynie!" she answered. How she understood his language was a mystery, even to her. And while she was mentally complex enough to ponder the mystery, she had no real interest in doing so right away. Right now, she had something else she wanted to get right. She'd heard him making comments about the others' chests, so she knew that was important, and she wanted to be the right shape. So she held her breasts in her palms. "Right size? Big enough?"

She was using simple words, but that was intentional. She wanted to see his reaction before she revealed what she was really thinking.

Takeo tilted his head in greeting, certainly intrigued at what she was apparently capable of doing--both the linguistic ability and maintaining a solid-like structure. With her unabashedly all but posing in front of him, functionally naked (whatever that meant to a girl-shaped puddle) and touching herself, it was just a little too tempting. He chuckled at her question, brushing his hand up across her belly--giving her the chance to pull away if it turned out she did have some hesitation about being touched--to cup his own hand over her breast, gently hefting and squeezing a little.

For science, of course.

"...they're fine. Any bigger, and I'd worry about you tipping over. That's quite an impressive trick, Raynie. Since you can understand me, I should ask: are you all right? There anything you need that you don't have already?"

The way he had to deliberately pull his attention away from her bosom, it was fair to guess she'd done well indeed.

She didn't shy away at all. Being touched by another living creature was exceptionally rare for her kind. He was warm, and even the light brush of his hand sent a little vibration through her mass, which she found stimulating.

For science or otherwise, there were a few things he'd learn right away from giving her breast a good squeeze like that. First it was a bit squishier than human breasts, his fingers sank in a little without much effort, but she didn't show any signs of discomfort. She was cool to the touch, about room temperature, a little damp and slightly slick. And while there was some surface tension a skin of sorts, it felt like he could easily slip inside her if he squeezed or poked hard enough.

"Nope! Happy," she told him. There were things she would need eventually - nutrients, access to DHMO - but right now there was only one thing she wanted. "More touch?"
