Close to Lancaster Gate station, there's a side street near a set of double traffic lights.

He was aware that the directions weren't the most specific or indeed the most helpful, but he couldn't make himself get up and go somewhere easier to find. Now that the initial shock was wearing off, the full effect of the silver was starting to ebb through him. It wasn't as bad as wolfsbane, not much was, but it was damned painful none the less. Gabriel was used to it, but that didn't make it any easier to deal with in the moment. At least the knife one of the attackers had used hadn't been silver too; then he would have been in trouble.

There it was! The silver lining!

Not daring to move his hand from the wound on his side, slowly but surely bleeding against his palm, all Gabriel could do was grit his teeth against how badly he was hurting, make himself take deep breaths and do his best to ignore the pain in his chest and across his ribs. He didn't want to know what he looked like right now; a mess was probably an accurate assumption. Resting his head back against the brick wall behind him, he tried not to think about it. Just reminded himself that Derek was on his way. He'd be fine. What were a couple more scars in the long run, right?
