[ There's that moment Bruce is familiar with, the one where he's flung himself into something that goes far, far, far past his depths. He's not one for retreat though so there's just the flare of panic and then regroup, action, attack. If he's usually offense, he does defense. That sort of thing.
He feels that when he hears Harley. The sharp burst of panic and then bitter of course rings through his head. He doesn't dislike her, no, not anymore. He knows Harley's trying her best to come out of Joker's thumb, more of a victim than a villain. Her morals still leave something to be desired but his general MO is to leave her alone unless she's hurting someone. Rehabilitation for her seems to be better suited to the wilds than Arkham and right now, she's technically done her time.
He still doesn't want her patching his wounds. So, as she slides down to her knees in front of him and starts going through her things (hah, he totally called the balloons), he's going to jerk out a hand to get her attention -- not really having the strength to properly grab her. ]
No, no. Harley, don't. Just... give me the gauze, I'll do it myself.
[ Actually, he kind of can't. The wound's in an awkward place on his side and even trying to sit up like this is making him see spots but. Dear god, he can't let Harley patch him up. He can't sink that low. ]
