001. family: this person is like your child/tiny sibling. clearly a nose boop is in order
002. friend: you and your biffle, or even your newly acquainted friend, are hanging. now it is time for a nose boop.
003. enemy: you're in the middle of an argument or an actual fight with the enemy. a nose boop is obviously the best distraction tactic.
004. partner: you're being schmoopy with the object of your affections. boops on the nose are one way in which you do so.
005. other: the wildcard option. boop away.

Post with your character's name/series, and if you like specify if they are the booper or the booped. Nose boops can happen nose to nose or finger to tip of nose. Now, go forth and nose boop someone.

Sometimes, at the bar, people just need a little bit of a pick-me-up. The tall drink of water sitting down, staring at a finger of whiskey, well. He looks kinda down.

Kat leans over the bar, reaches forward, and taps the tip of his nose with the tip of her finger.

"Boop."

Lost in his own little world, thinking about a case that hadn't gone the way he wanted it, Sam had been working on the same drink for over thirty minutes. He was aware of the constant buzz of people around him, but his size and solitude must made him an easy person to avoid.

The slender finger caught Sam completely by surprise. When the pad tapped his nose, large brown eyes blinked, as if drawing himself back into his body. "Heh, sorry," Sam said, sitting up straighter, glancing around, seeing if he was taking up a seat that needed to be vacated.

"I don't usually get caught off-guard." His eyes finally settled back on the brunette. He definitely wasn't as slick as Dean was.

I'd like to think I have a better idea than most. It's just that it's oh so hard to appreciate a certain side of you with your helmet on.

Kat doesn't usually make it a habit to touch strangers, but for some reason, she felt the need to reach out. He seemed lost, in a way, and that wasn't too odd for a bar, especially this late, but Kat had never been one to second guess her compassion.

Kat smiled as he straightened up and she took her hand back, reaching down to catch the rag and wipe the bar top. "No, you're fine. Just...spacing out a little. Looked like you could use a good excuse to get out of it."

[ Umi did, and she enjoys the outrage. Umi is absolutely a huge troll. ]

"Lots on my mind, I guess," Sam answered, a shrug rolling from his right shoulder to his left, then dropping off. He glanced down into his glass, rough hand tipping the tumbler so the whiskey coated the side of the glass. He brought it to his lips and took a sip.

Suddenly he wasn't so ready to finish and be on his way.

"Must be a magic finger you've got there if it can pull people out of their funks. Granted, you helped put us all there?" Sam was teasing, hopefully it was coming off that way. He finished his glass and set the tumbler back on the bar top without slamming it down.

"Can I bother you for a cup of water?"

"I get that." He looked serious, in a way. There was something in his brows, like he carried a lot of weight there. It was a different kind than she usually saw here, people just worn out by their hard lives. She smirks to his answer and wipes the bar again before tossing the rag beneath it.

"Only thing magic about my hands is how fast I can type and make drinks," she laughs. "I did, didn't I?" Being a facilitator of liquor wasn't Kat's goal in life, but it was a hell of a good way to make it through school. She could afford to pay her bills most months.

"No," she says, in all mock seriousness, "you can't bother me. I'm happy to get you one." She reaches underneath the bar for a bottle of water and cracks it open for him, setting it onto the bar top. "Talked the bar owner into bottles. Better than the tap, by far."
