There was no chance to protest before he had seized hold of her and draped her over his shoulder as though she were some conquest. She gave a sharp laugh, slapping at his lower back as she pretended to fight him. "Have you no honor, ser? How dare you capture a lady in this way!"

She gave another squeal, trying to pull herself up as he carted her into the cottage. "Is this how the men of the Night's Watch are taught to treat a lady? Or is this how the Lord Commander satisfies his lust?"
