[ Negan didn't have anything to say in response to the threat of how lethal Rick's man was. During the battle, he'd seen the man in action, and he had no intention of getting on the wrong side of him any time soon. Now did he answer Rick's question. It seemed like it was probably rhetorical, all things considered.

Probably best for him, though. If he did come in and sit with him, Negan figured Rick would probably fall asleep right there, chatting to him. He was probably worried he'd be used as some sort of meat shield for an escape attempt. Or not.

He raised both eyebrows as Rick asked his second question, though, puzzled and amused at once. Had he meant to say that? Tripped over his tongue? Freudian slip? Well. Rick really was full of surprises, if that was the case. ]
