The Allaince had many things Saw and his group lacked - like new weapons and clean clothes. The comlink that was given to her was also new so when it lit up and she heard Cassian's voice, she practically jumped.

She spent a lot of her time on Yavin doing whatever jobs needed to be done whether they were translations or repairs to ships and weapons. She was quite handy with some tools, but most of the work she got was because she just wandered into the right place at the right time. No one really called her on her comlink - it almost felt like she was back with Saw and his group of rebels - she sometimes felt ostracized.

"I'm here," she said into her comlink after she took a few moments to gather herself. She hadn't spoken to Cassian in so long - she missed his voice.
