Caught in the rain

It started out quietly, and then, quite suddenly, you're caught in a storm. Time to find cover. Nothing much to do but to wait it out.

i WHERE:
001 PLAYGROUND - Well, you can try to hide under the slide or maybe in the jungle gym... at least you're some place fun?
002 PARK - Always happens, caught outside trying to take advantage of the weather... and it ends up pulling a fast one on you.
003 STORE FRONT - Better hope they have an awning you can take advantage of.
004 THE BEACH - Not exactly the best place to be during a rainstorm, however it is possible to get caught in a sudden storm.

[Lightning flashes in the distance, highlighting a girl standing in the park in a light tracksuit and sneakers. Even as she's getting soaked, she doesn't leave her spot in the park, standing on a wide grassy space. The rain is just starting to soak into the ground, leaving the grass wet but the earth mostly firm still. Streetlights cast her in dim but functional light. As the thunder reaches her ears, Alicia snaps to action, casting a fist out in front of herself, before swinging around and continuing to attack unseen enemies, in a dance of death that is surprisingly attention-grabbing for her not being a master of her arts.

...Or, well. While the enemies are unseen, Alicia's mind provides them handily, faceless forms coming to strike her and being cast aside all the same. Most of the hits aren't lethal, simply damaging and discouraging, but a few would definitely knock someone out of commission more permanently. Her focus is absolute, but the routine only lasts maybe a minute or two more. As she kicks out, striking an imagined opponent in the chest and throwing them some distance away, she balances for a moment on one leg, before standing upright again and letting her arms fall to her side. Her breathing is heavy, but as the rain begins to leave a sheen on her skin in the lamplight, somehow, she feels more alive than she has in a while. She could have trained inside today, certainly. But this feels more real, more meaningful.

Despite training to keep herself alive and safe, she feels at peace, letting her eyes slide closed for a moment and simply listening to the sound of the rain, the orchestra of the park as water consumes it.]
