Want to RP a wedding? Want to RP something on the path to the wedding? Then this is your meme! Here's how it works:

1. Leave a comment here stating your character's name, series, your preferences, etc.
2. Find someone else to comment to.

1. Popping the Question. You've been together long enough, and you're sure the other person loves you just as deeply as you love them, and that that will not change. It's time to ask them to marry you. I hope they accept!

2. Meeting Your Spouse. Unlike the previous prompt, you didn't choose your spouse; rather, someone else chose them for you, and it's time to meet them. Will there be a spark between the two of you, or is this marriage doomed to unhappiness?

3. Choosing the Venue. Where will you get married? The church you've belonged to ever since you were a child? A luxury hotel? Down on the beach? We'll leave it up to you to decide!

4. Making the Guest List. Who will you invite? Who will you not invite? It's time for the two of you to work that out!

5. Engagement Party. It's you, your fiancé(e), and a group of your closest friends. Make sure to properly celebrate this occasion!

6. The Quarrel. Uh-oh, the two of you can't agree on something! You'd better work it out quickly, or who knows -- one of your fathers may pay for relationship counseling and make you work it out there!

7. The Bachelor(ette) Party. WOOOOO! This is your last night before tying the knot, so let's make sure this era of your life goes out in STYLE! Get your friends together! Bring on the booze! Get the exotic dancers in here! But...make sure you don't go too far, all right? Tomorrow's a big day, after all.

8. The Wedding. The day has finally come. Are you waiting at the altar for your spouse-to-be? Are you coming down the aisle? Where are you? Is it where you wanted to be? Regardless, this is a momentous occasion. Make sure to make it memorable enough to remember for the rest of your lives.

9. The Reception. The main event's over, now on to the party! Dance with your new spouse, or let a member of the wedding party say a few words over a glass of champagne. Cut the cake! Pull out the karaoke machine! This is your first party as a married couple, so enjoy it!

10. Guess What? We Eloped! Is the stress of all this getting to you? Well, there's one solution -- run off and elope! I hear the wedding chapels in Vegas are numerous and ornate...

11. The Wedding Night. The wedding is over, and you're both back in your room, and out of your wedding clothes. Will you just enjoy each other's presence? Will you go straight to sleep? Or will you take this chance to consummate the marriage?

12. The Next Morning. Last night, you went to bed together. This morning, you wake up together. Perhaps you want to stay in bed a little longer and snuggle closer to your spouse. Or maybe you want to wake up and make them breakfast before they wake up!

13. The Honeymoon. Welcome to paradise! The two of you are now celebrating your recent marriage by taking a vacation. Where will you go? Are you a beach person or a mountains person?

14. Wild Card. Roll again, pick any of the above, or create your own scenario!

Yeah, no problem right? Sally clutched her bouquet a little tighter as the doors opened and the music started. Here goes nothing.

Billy had really been hoping his bride would show up. If nothing else, after his intense fussing over every minute detail of the presentation he's fairly certain the crowd would lynch him for having to call the whole thing off. He's wearing an expertly tailored tuxedo in his signature colors and his best dancing shoes, the better to show off at the party.

Not a flinch as he watched his co-star come up the aisle, not so much as a twitch of his little finger, every part the smiling husband-to-be, but goodness if he didn't have a mild case of stage fright fluttering about his diaphragm.

Walking down the aisle alone was something she preferred. Sally had nothing to do with her father, not any more anyway and it would be weird for her brother to do it. He didn't really approve of the whole 'little sister marrying dangerous supervillain' sort of thing.

She wonders if he's thinking about her, or if her dress is too tight or if Batman might crash the wedding. Hey, it was possible. A million things are running through her head but by the time she gets there...God Billy is gorgeous.

"Hi." She breathes soft and awkward.

Samara blinked her eyes open slowly, the soft sunlight warming her in the heavenly soft hotel bed. She felt truly exhausted, to her very bones, but she smiled when she remembered why. It was so very worth it because now, she was married to the first girl she'd ever fallen in love with. She turned carefully, gazing adoringly at her beautiful new wife. She pressed a soft kiss to Emily's shoulder before snuggling in close, her arm wrapping tightly around Emily's waist.

If Batman crashes the wedding he swears to God he's going to break his 'murder isn't artistic' rule. Too much planning went into this. He'd even gotten his parents here, years after he'd broken off contact with them to openly pursue his supervillain career. They still didn't agree with his life style, but at least he was having a proper marriage. To a woman. The fondness for theater had raised a few doubts.

Billy stands up straighter as she approaches, his smile widening. She really is beautiful, and the dress he helped design looks exquisite on her. He makes a quiet shushing noise to her, nudging her back towards the script. Plenty of time for improv later. One hand offered to the bride, turn towards the Master of Ceremonies, begin opening lines.

That was possibly the most hilarious thing she had ever heard. Billy? Gay? Still, that's what stereotypes did.

Her hands slips into his and squeezes it back as the priest starts. After a few words he turns to the couple, "I understand there are some vows the couple wishes to say?"

For now she'll stay quiet. Sally swore to him her vow was going to be secret until the wedding and it was a promise she was going to keep.

Billy hadn't been...pleased with the idea of not knowing a part of the script, but he'd allowed it. If it made her happy. A few surprises weren't necessarily bad.

Billy half-turned, speaking both to her and to the audience at large with his powerful stage voice. His own vows were florid, addressing the beauty of both her body and her soul. He promised to devote a life of performances to her, to account for her every need in the ways only he could, to destroy anyone and anything who might come between them. The Music Meister brought passion to every performance, of course, but there was something special in this monologue. This was opening night for a show that would last a lifetime.

I think my boss is enjoying this wedding more than I am. That or he's using it as an excuse to look at male stripper websites on government computers. [He doesn't want a bachelor party. He's never been much for parties and when it's two men that's just confusing anyway. All this pomp and circumstances, the attention other people seem to feel he should be giving a pointless little ceremony, is starting to tick him off.]
