Everyone could use a good massage now and again right? Well it's time to let you characters lay back and relax-- or maybe treat someone else to a little skin therapy. ;) Break out the oils and scented candles, it's time for a good rub down.

How to play:
❧ POST with your character (list their name & canon in the subject if you please)
❧ Others can reply giving the massage or recieving it.
❧ Use RNG to pick from the numbers below, or pick your numbers, or make something up!
❧ Have fun!

Type

001. Shoulder and Neck - the basic of the basic. Perhaps a strained shoulder, been sitting too long at their desk. Or maybe something even more strenuous. However, it's time to work out all those accumulated kinks.

002. Foot - It's time to give those yapping dogs a rest and treat them to a little TLC.

003. Hand - Hey don't forget about the hands, overworked constantly they could use a bit of a break.

004. Arm - Time to loosen up a bit and rub out those arm muscles.

005. Leg - Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more specific and intimate. Calve massage? Thigh? It's your choice.

006. Back - Considered a coup de grace of massage, the back massage, when done right, can bring extreme relief to those who receive it.

007. Scalp - Wanna feel those tingles down your spine? Maybe a little oil to help add health to the hair?

008. Full Body - Maybe it’s not just a specific area you want treated, but your entire body.

009. Wild Card - Anyway you want it. Mix and match, maybe I forgot something you want.

002. Lover - Whether a show of care or a prelude to something more intimate, a massage from a lover is a very welcome thing.

Matt has no problems holding his own when it comes to their rag-tag group. It's not his first rodeo, and having back up helps (more than he'll admit), but some days it's blaringly obvious that he's the only one without any real enhancements or special powers. No super strength, no unbreakable skin, no mystic ancient powers. Just some supernatural senses thanks to some toxic waste. And Matt really doesn't hold back - he hates the thought that he might be the weak link.

Today is one of those days. When he wakes up from a trying night, it's not his face or his knuckles that hurt, and the overall bodily ache doesn't come from stab wounds or gun shots. He makes an unimpressed sound as he rolls over, sitting up despite the protest in his shoulders. What he needs is a hot shower. Or, better yet, a hot bath.

"I've never been happier for a weekend."

Danny, of course, has been up for hours, probably already through his morning routine before the sun even had a chance to rise completely. Probably just yoga because it's quiet enough not to disturb Matt while he sleeps, and his partner really needed it after last night.

He rarely got to sleep in.

Though he's back in bed when his boyfriend rouses, idly flipping through the news on his tablet, propped up against the headboard and... yeah, all that mystic ancient powers means he's not feeling much more than a mild ache from the previous day.

"Good morning." He tips his head, taking in Matt's stilted motions and the exhausted expression on his face. "You look awful."

"Nng." It's a very eloquent reply. "I feel like I got hit with a car door. Or that a car door got hit with me."

Matt's feet hit the floor and he stretches, clenching his jaw as his muscles silently scream at him. Okay, maybe he won't get up just yet. He drops back on the bed, his head finding Danny's thigh as a pillow.

Danny sets his table off to the side once Matt's head finds his thigh, dropping his hand into his partner's hair to card fingers through it before he rubs down along the nape of his neck.

"Are you hurt? Nothing seemed broken." Because he forgets that his friends aren't all as young and quick to recover as he is.
