Admire your object of affection from afar. Hang out with them as much as you can. Be awkward as only you can. Enjoy being in their presence or being close to them because afhhdhflfh they're so pretty and so aaaaahh you're ensnared. Be super nice to them. Dote on them because they're so darn cute. Fulfilling their every whim will get you in good! Or be a terrible tsundere, as that's all some of you assholes know how to do. Eventually, you'll get over your denial and realize, grizzled warrior-king or megalomaniacal god or bitchy brat you are, you're feeling flushed. HOW TO PLAY Comment with your character, preference, and what role you'd like to play. Cutesy, emotional, kind, or young characters might get smitten easily. But part of the fun is seeing completely stoic, inappropriate, or horrible characters get silly quickened heart beats. Of course, said stoic, inappropriate, or horrible characters getting crushed on is just as funny. RNG for a prompt or just go nuts. [Nyx never thought he could find comfort in simple bureaucratic issues of a recovering kingdom. As still as he was capable of standing, he'd always felt more alive moving, doing. But after nearly killing himself to save one woman, and losing ten whole years of time as a result....well, he's learned to value even the most boring of duties working with the King.

Thinking of King Noctis always brings a smile to his face these days. Knowing they'd all fought so hard...and this world is what they got out of it. And even more besides...

His phone pinged with a text and Nyx sighs, though not unhappily.]

Duty calls.

[He excuses himself from the border report, ignoring the knowing looks from several of the Guard (if Gladiolus knew they'd been talking...), and breaks into a run as soon as he's out of sight. He takes a corner hard, phase stepping through a startled chef who barely kept a hold of his bag of ingredients, and vaulting out through an open window at the end of the hall with the sound of swearing echoing behind him.

Angling his body, feeling the tingle of Noctis's magic beneath his skin, he throws his kukri (old, worn, but still as sharp as ever) and lets the warp drag him across the courtyard and into another hall. He rolls back up to his feet, brushing off the elegant jacket he's wearing (not made for this kind of activity, whoops), and catches his breath just in time to turn the corner to Noctis's voice calling for him.]

Here, your majesty.
