Dress Up Meme

Someone is dressing you up. Maybe you’re getting dressed up because you want to – for a party, for an outing, for staying in. Maybe you’re doing it because you have to, because you need to be disguised.

Hope that’s okay with you – because tough luck if it isn’t.

Instructions
1. Post with your character. Choose if you’re the dresser or the one being dressed.
2. The dresser is in the process of dressing their partner any way they want. Yes, any way. Gender switch, over the top, style change up … Be silly, be dramatic, be kinky – whatever you want.
3. Use the scenarios below or just be in a big, nexus-oriented closet.

Scenarios
1. Makeover – They've been dying to change how you dress anyway.
2. Party – You’re going out after this –- better go in style.
3. Theater – You've landed a big role! Good thing they're there to help out.
4. Costume Party - Hope you don’t mind being the back end of the horse.
5. Disguise - You can’t be recognized. Maybe you’re in danger, maybe you’re infiltrating something. Either way, you can’t afford the enemy recognizing you. They're completing your disguise.
6. Pretendy Games - You two are planning to do a little roleplay.
7. Revenge - You've slighted them in the past. They're plotting revenge through your wardrobe.
8. Choose Your Own - Thought of something else? Go for it.

"I mean, I've been more than happy to dress how you like, and find things to wear, but... what will that do for this woman?"

'This woman' was Patchouli. And currently all three of them were hiding out in Cinema Town. They could at least hide out among the crowd and wait until the whole mess with 3-A and those angry Kansai factions boil over (thankfully it wasn't life threatening like it had been three years or so ago, but...). Unfortunately Patchouli's choice of clothes remained... questionable.

"Patchouli-han, I know we're hiding (in a way) but you don't have to protect yourself with a fashion disaster," Konoka clicked her tongue. "You'll stand out in a bad way. Secchan, let's fix this."

Magnus honestly had nothing against Alec's wardrobe. There was something charming and candid about the minimalist blacks and grays that made them perfectly suited to Alec. The jeans he'd worn out distinctively, the leather jackets that stretched around his muscles after years of use, the unilateral wear-and-tear that came from a man who spent more time fighting than shopping. It was so far on the other side of the spectrum from Magnus' own style that he found it to be nothing short of exotic despite it being everything but.

That didn't mean he wasn't curious to see how Alec might look in something more exciting, though. A touch of flamboyance now and then was never known to hurt anyone. But the man was ridiculously practical and twice as stubborn, which made it difficult for Magnus to find the right excuse to dress him up.

"Alexander, are you almost ready?" he asked from where he stood in his extensive closet, tossing aside a fifth shirt in his endeavor to find one he actually wanted to wear out on their date.

Patchouli stuck out badly, but also in a way that would probably turn most folks away. So, not really going to work as well as it could, but not for not trying. If trial was involved, anyway.

"It'll be fine, you two--!" she continued anyway, even though that wasn't going to work (which... maybe she knew, it's hard to tell with her sometimes, really.)

"No, it's not fine!" Konoka insisted. "This is a fashion disaster that even *I* can't ignore. Secchan, let's get her to a closet and find a better dress."

Figuring Konoka had things well in hand, Setsuna nodded. "Very well, ojo--Kono-chan." As if they had planned this all along, Konoka took one of Patchouli's hands, Setsuna the other, and began to escort her to the nearest costume store.

I couldn't decide, so I bought a bunch of things.

[Noctis shrugged at the small pile of shopping bags sitting on the couch. They manage to stand out surprisingly well against the rest of the clutter-- all pastel prints and cute logos with neatly wrapped tissue paper bundles inside, instead of the usual convenience store trash.
It had been annoying shopping for it all, to be honest. Listening to the shop attendants giggle and whisper his name, trying to guess who the lucky princess was going to be, the gossip spilling out and over itself. Their voices cutting into silence and terse respect when actually speaking to him.
In retrospect, maybe he shouldn't have started with underwear.]

You said you'd wear whatever I wanted, right? You should be glad you get to pick it out.

No, really, how had this happened?! He can barely even remember how'd they'd gotten on the topic of clothes in the first place, but as it had become steadily more apparent that the idea of picking out what someone got to wear was something that Noctis really got off on, Prompto had found himself eagerly agreeing not only to the idea itself, but every single stipulation that had come with it. ("Anything?" "Yes." "Even a skirt?" "Yes. Anything.")

It happens so often-- his reason and potentially better judgement gets completely clouded with possibilities, and Noctis is so impossible to refuse, he gets into these pinches... and the only way is straight through.

Nothing to say of the fact that Prompto is itching to tear those bags open to see exactly what Noctis has in mind. His imagination had been spending the past hour or so waiting for Noctis' arrival in a dizzy, lustful haze; he's almost sure it's visible on him, like an aura.

As the other boy rifles through the fridge (?? Prompto nearly snorts with laughter; it's just... so Noct, even with all this), Prompto shuffles silently to the bags resting on the table, hooking the tip of a finger in one to try to peer inside, lower lip bitten between his teeth. Stealthy. ]

Huh? Oh. Y-yeah, that's... that's fine. The uniform shoes should probably still work. [ The nicely packaged-and-taped bags foil him; he can't see anything outside of pink and white tissue paper. He tries to speak and the words get stuck in his throat, which he softly clears to try again, face flaring sharply with heat. ] Any... ah, any of these you... want me to start with?
