Alejandro doesn't move, doesn't say anything. He and Hephaestion never needed to speak. They always just knew. So maybe Jon will be able to intuit, now, that he's feeling too much to process it neatly. This is not a routine for him - he doesn't have a host of past lives to recall, he doesn't remember his existence throughout all time. It's just then and now and what's now has defined him more than anything.
