[As much as Lance would like to admit that he didn't actually consider the fact that there could be a handful of acid in Shiro's hand... it's still a possibility. Maybe like a one in thousandth chance, though. The ones he'd been dealing with hadn't really steered him wrong, but the toner was weird--he'd begun thinking of things with that possibility of it ending up badly given how many bad encounters he's had.

Well, toner's usually a once- or twice-a-day thing, but I usually just do it at nights. No idea on my sister though. Toner, then moisturizers, then your face is usually pretty good, or night masks.
