Frisk's never been to the circus before, much less something like this. The beasts were expected, even if they frowned at their treatment; the acrobats too, though they thought there would only be swings high in the air for those. And of course, the clown, though they felt bad for the (very, very few, to their suspicion) children that seemed afraid of them.
The storyteller was a prime example of that. They lean against the edge of the bleacher-things they were seated in, almost enough for the moving spotlight to clip them, sometimes.
About halfway through the performance, they learn that this was, perhaps, not the wisest of ideas.
Their locket comes loose and disappears into the whirlwind of...everything that his latest creation is being made from, and it takes most of their self-control not to fling themselves into the ring right then and there. Hopefully they'll be able to go get it back later. They're certainly going to try.
