Beast Tamer Bucky trained and performed with the beasts bare-handed (and bare-chested) as often as not. Some thought that he shouldn't be in the First Circle due to the fact that his left arm was metal, not flesh and bone, but that arm was a work of art on its own, and the fact that he was fearless regardless of the beast he was working with were proof enough that he was right where he should be.
Beast No one was sure if the one they called The Soldier was a failure or one of the ones who'd fallen from grace, but whatever had happened, he'd clearly been through hell. His left foreleg was crudely articulated, made of tarnished metal and badly grafted onto his shoulder. His whole left side was a mass of scarring, and he had a habit of lashing out at anyone who got close, snarling and throwing himself against the bars of his cage, sometimes to the point of rolling the whole works over.
