Let's hit the showers!
-Post as your characters as if they're in the shower hall/room at the YMCA, Gym, or some other place there would be. Include name, series, and any prefs in the subject line.
-All the showers are on and cannot be turned off
-The hall never ends and there are no clothes or towels in sight.
-There are useful things like soap, shampoo, and other things you might need in a shower though.
-Reply to others and hopefully have some fun!

[He was nervous. He didn't want to admit it, but he was. This was home for all he'd been mostly out of the country for the last year, but this was home and he was being asked to leave. He understood why, completely, and he was the right built, the right hair, the right eyes, the right accent. And his powers. He was the best for this. But it meant being alone for a while. He had started to like not being alone.

But what could he say? "No. I don't want to. I'm afraid." No he had to go through with this.

But for now he was simply going to soak himself in the shower.]

[Daniel hadn't seen him since that last briefing, stayed away during the last stretch of training because Magnus needed to concentrate entirely on what he was doing and learning, but he couldn't let him slip away without a goodbye. His head pounded with the doublethink dissonance of an old nation's rationality (of course Israel could lose him, would lose him someday if not this mission, and it would only be foolish to pretend otherwise) and a young man's wild agitation (Daniel can't lose him, he's too good at what he does, it won't happen, it just won't). But even home safe again, Magnus will be away too long, will not return unchanged.

He means to hold him, smell his hair, feel the warmth of his arms. Perhaps a kiss for the road, and then let him sleep. Tomorrow's an important day. But he gets to the base and lets Magnus's presence draw him instead of aiming deliberately for his quarters, and by the time his conscious mind has realized he's approaching the showers he already has his jacket and tie off, half his shirt buttons undone. He dumps everything on a bench rather than waste a moment shoving it into a locker before he entires the showers proper.

Magnus is - alone, sculpted, water sliding over the dips and planes of his untanned skin, enjoying the solace of it, and Daniel might, possibly, feel even slightly guilty for interrupting him if he were so utterly riveted.]

[It says much, more than he is old enough, wise enough, to understand, that in a public place, in a public exposed place, he felt safe enough to let his guard down, breathing slowly, inhaling steam, hearing only water, buzzing electricity, static he was only beginning to understand, and the steady whirl-thump-pulse he had realized was the planet. He doesn't hear Daniel come into the showers, has stepped into the shower bay.

But he feels it, turning to look, head cocked, hand rubbing water from his face. Something about Daniel knocks him off guard, off kilter, and the way he's staring...]

Hello?

[He's naked except for his tags and the knife strapped to one calf, hair sticking up erratically in the back where he pulled his shirt off in frustration, his expression gone soft and fierce at once.]

What on earth am I going to do without you?

[He says it low and wistful, more to himself than to Magnus.]

[His tags are all he has, pressed tight against his skin like they are stuck there. Few would know they actually could be.]

I'm sure you'll be all right...

[Magnus didn't know what to make of Daniel, really. All over him - not that he minded, although he had been left very confused and then not much and now this? Off kilter, off balance.]

[He steps into the spray, into Magnus's space, splays a hand against his chest, head tipping back to keep meeting Magnus's eyes.]

You are - incredible.

[It's mortifying that he is actually slightly choked up. He breathes in steam.]

[It was one thing, the touches, a voice in his ear. Entirely different to have his space invaded while naked, bare skin on his, heat radiating off Daniel like some hot stone that called Magnus to roll around on.]

[What is he supposed to do with his hands? Magda he'd have had to fight not to slide his hands onto her hips.]

[He rests his cheek against Magnus's bulk, thumbing a nipple almost idly, except for how it isn't at all.]

I'm going to miss you.

[He slides his arms around Daniel, lightly, unsure. His thumb makes Magnus' body twitch, and he swallows hard.]

You will?

[He hums approvingly when Magnus's arms go around him, almost a purr.]

God. Yes, so much.

I don't do this, you know. I don't go around jumping my agents at hideously inappropriate times. You're just irresistible, okay.

[He mutters it, half-heartedly trying for annoyed but not actually capable of it.]

All right.

[He wasn't sure he believed that. But he liked the thought of being irresistible. He liked it a lot.]

I shouldn't even be here.

I should be letting you - relax, sleep, whatever it is you want to do tonight.

[Not going to stop touching. Not at all. Unless Magnus takes the opening and agrees that really, yes, he should back off. Oh god please don't tell him that.]

I don't know if I could sleep.

[He hates that his voice sounds unsure, that he's tense, that his nerves are betraying him. He has to be strong. Instead his fingers are digging in.]

[His hand strokes up and down Magnus's chest, broad touches, expanses of skin on wet skin.]

I want to try to tire you out.

[It's neither a confession nor an order. It's more playful and more earnest than either, almost as simple as an offer, hope and want glinting on him like more water.]
